Lakers will win against the Spurs tomorrow. They have have won three in a row (@ Minnesota, @ Denver, vs. Golden State) and have have played good team basketball. Kobe Bryant is getting help and the Lakers bench plays phenomenal. San Antonio (SA) has just came off a loss to Golden State. Also, SA has a 5-4 record on the road, and this game is going to be played in Los Angeles. Oh yeah, Tim Duncan might not play due to injury.

Lakers have had 3 wins in a row....but 2 of the teams they just got done beating have losing records with the timberwolves having the worst of 3-16....

Tim Duncan wasn't playing against Dallas and Utah...and the Spurs still pulled out wins against those 2 respectfully good teams...

Bruce Bowen owned Kobe last time they played...holding him to 18 points when he averages 27...along with going 6-6 on the 3's and raking 23 points.

Last meeting: 107 - 92 Spurs

Denver and Golden State both have winning records, so you are wrong there.

They did beat Dallas(by 2 pts) and Utah(by 6 pts) at home, but they were not convincing victories.

Bowen did defend Bryant well, and did shoot 6-6 from the three point range, but im sure Bryant hasn't forgotten and Bowen will not shoot 6-6 again.

Last time the Lakers played the Spurs, they did lose by 15, but Tim Duncan was playing and Los Angeles was on the road. This time Duncan might not play, and the game is in Staples Center. Lakers have momentum going into this home game and will prevail over the San Antonio Spurs.

I stand corrected and knew i was wrong about the 2 teams i put up there...what i meant to put out there was the fact that San Antonio still beat 3 top seven teams without Duncan and LA has won 3 in a row with ALL there players healthy.

convincing or not they have the W and not the L. If games were won based on how CONVINCINGLY they did it, the season would be a mockery...also they had no duncan. Playing 3 GOOD teams without your main core of your team and winning is a hard task to do. Winning 3 in a row with ALL your starting players is another thing.

Just saying that Kobe will remember how BOWDEN played him isn't much of an argument...i really have nothign to argue there...and also remember BOWDEN averaged 3 points a game before their first meeting. Not good derfense by the all star player kobe.

As much as people would think that Kobe is getting the help, im not so much sure that is the case...i mean he still easily takes the high score for every game, along with assists in most...bench is play ok ball but it is nothing to brag about...San Antonios bench averages 41 compared to LAs 32..so i think that SA bench has ya beat...

Once again you are wrong. Kwame Brown has been injured Since November 18, and Walton did not play against Golden State. Yes it does not matter how convincing the victory was, but they did win by a small margin at home. This time around, they are not playing at home, which means the Lakers will have the advantage in my mind to get the win. Bryant is getting help recently.

Last Game:
V. Rad.- 14pts.
Odom- 14pts, 10rebs, 6asts
Bynum- 20pts, 11rebs, 5blks
Fisher-15pts
Ariza-11pts
Okay i've proven my point. The Lakers have played good ball and will beat the Spurs.

kwame brown averaged 4 points a game before he sat out for his ankle/knee injury...
Walton 7 (who's #2 man averages just 3 points less)...so these aren't even key play makers fro the Lakers...

Keep duncan out and it will be the same result.
I mean last time they played Duncan had 5 points with 5 rebounds...and the spurs rolled all over you guys. Home or not home duncan or no duncan...spurs roll...

Tony Parker 26 points
Bruce Bowden 24 points
Manu Ginobili 17 points
Michael Finley 10 points

all in double digits last time they played the lakers....
Tim Duncan 5 points 5 rebounds...

final score- 107- 92....

So just imagine if duncan plays well, with the rest of his team even bigger blow out

steve great points

If Tim doesn't play, LA SHOULD win, but in the first game they OWNED Duncan. It was the rest of the team that killed LA, including Bowen. But there's now way he does that in LA. The Lakers always seem to play the Spurs well, including winning the season series last year.

December 12, 2007  09:33 PM ET

*NO way, not 'now way'

December 12, 2007  09:39 PM ET

it;s not about stopping Duncan alone that's why they lost. It about stopping Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker. If u stop two out three and play solid d. Then it's on.

December 12, 2007  09:39 PM ET

but f the lakers. the Spurs r winning.

December 12, 2007  10:35 PM ET

Lakes favored, so taking the LAKERS!

05-06 the Lakers lost all 3 games to San Antonio....

December 13, 2007  06:23 AM ET

i dont know where to go on this both convincing arguments but point goes to steve

December 13, 2007  08:30 AM ET

They are looking solid

They got creamed in SA, it should be a great game.....Kobe is playing well and within the framework of the team game and Bynum is looking positively untradeable.......

December 13, 2007  08:53 AM ET

steveo u said not very good d from kobe....u no the stats but if u were the coach would u have kobe sticking like glue to bowen in the corner were he takes all his **** or would u have kobe play him loose and help out other players on d.... it takes kobe out of the game defensively if he sits with bowen in the corner... and expecially wen bowen isnt a good offensive player.

December 13, 2007  08:54 AM ET

i think whoevers team losers should forfeit

December 13, 2007  09:01 AM ET

(all his shots) thats wat it says no idea why they blocked it...

December 13, 2007  11:41 AM ET

Steveo, the Lakers took two-of-three LAST season against the Spurs. The only game they won was a game in which Finley hit a three from the parking lot that sent the game into overtime.

December 13, 2007  11:57 AM ET

HOFFA- oh i know....just sayin if you go another season back the spurs took a clean sweep of them...so the lakers dont always play them well...they play them consistently good last year...but not the year before...and will find out this year how well they will play them.

I know that Kobe often got drawn away from Bowen...but thats a good reason right there why it will be a tough game for the Lakers...Kobe cant do everything....

December 14, 2007  12:03 AM ET

The Lakers r winning at the half!

December 14, 2007  12:42 AM ET

even when duncan wasn't a factor in the last game they still won by 12...spurs...

December 14, 2007  01:12 AM ET

winning at half means nothing....

December 14, 2007  01:16 AM ET

well with parker and duncan out the lakers did it.....

December 14, 2007  01:18 AM ET

So i guess u should forfeit.

December 14, 2007  01:25 AM ET

why ...TD's are about peoples arguments and which are better...if you had put the lakers would win because you said so and i argued out my point...i would win this ...there will be no forfeiting....
