I fond it Ironic that the people most responsible for fielding this juggernaut of a team who most likely will go 19 - 0 are the three worst teams in the AFC, The Dolphins, the Raiders, and the Jets. If you disagree, accept the showdown and good luck!

So you are saying the only reason the Patriots are doing good is because there a three bad teams in the nfl. Im not sure how long you have been watching the nfl, but every single season in the history of the NFL there are three worst teams. there are 3 best teams. and there are 32 teams in the nfl that never changes. What makes them a good team is the fact that no can stop them. they are great in every aspect of the game. Im a Steelers fan and i still give them credit because they just outplayed the only team in the nfl i thought could stop them. They have beaten the brakes off of everyone this year. SD,PIT,IND,DAL, all good teams that have lost to the pats this year. Other teams records has nothing to do with why the pats are 1st in offense. So in response to your topic...... tom brady, moss, and the whole team of new england have made THEMSELVES what they are today.

No, I am not saying that the only reason they are good is because of the 3 worst teams. I am saying that without the contributions of these three teams, NE would still be a SB contender, but wouldn???t be vying for the coveted undefeated season. They would have finished 14 - 2, 13 - 3, and still would have a good chance of making it to the SB. BUT THEY WOULDN???T HAVE BEEN AS DOMINANT!

This is a perfect case as to why there are too many teams in the NFL. Not so much because there isn???t enough talent, but because there isn???t enough bright GMs and coaches who are capable of making simple and sound decisions. This is how those three teams have contributed to NE???s success.

Miami - Traded them Wes Walker for practically nothing.

Oakland - Traded Randy Moss for practically nothing. Yeah, hindsight is 20/20 but everybody knew before the season that Randy Moss would perform again at a high level now that he is part of a winning organization.

Jets - Gave them more motivation then any single person can ever give to an organization. This whole spygate thing is what is driving this NE organization. Damn, 1200 characters is not enough..

so is it because there are too many teams in the nfl or the 3 crappy teams that are making the pats do good. Dude if there are too many team in the NFL someone should be able to step up and beat them. The trades have nothing to do with NE sucess of those other teams. They are walking over the whole NFL organization and not even getting there shoes dirty. Basically what your saying is because the pats picked up these few players they are killing everyone else because there is no other great talent in the NFL. Every team gets an losses great players. No one said that when these "crappy" teams gave up players that they had to go to NE, they just did. I dont think the jets and phins thought hmmm... ok lets give NE all these great players so they can walk all over us and so that they have perfect seasons and we dont. The only reason I entered this TD is to make you realize how ridiculous your topic is.

So you don???t agree that Wes Walker, Randy Moss, and the motivation the Jets gave them are directly contributing to their undefeated season thus far? Let me ask this to you this way, if those three things didn???t happen would they be sitting at 13 - 0 right now? I???m sorry if you didn???t understand the topic when you agreed to this TD, but any astute football fan would know what I was getting at by listing those three teams.

Miami???s Wes Walker trade is universally agreed to be one of the dumbest off season moves, and they did it to a team in their own division, not only that but has won the division the last four years in a row!

Oakland had a chance to trade Randy Moss outside the AFC, but got impatient and pulled the trigger with NE. As a GM, you try to avoid trading players with the potential of Randy Moss teams to the same conference, much less one of the top teams in that conference!

The Jets expose NE???s cheating, but now the funny thing is that it???s coming out that the Jets were doing the exact same thing!! Must be a thing with all Billcheck disciples. Next time keep your moth shut and worry about your own **** team Eric!

OK, look. It is contributing, but not enough to make them 13-0. They are a good TEAM, a team is a group, all playing together. It doesnt say randy moss, and wes walker are 13-0, its says the PATRIOTS are 13-0. And who cares if the Raiders had a chance. They were doing it to benefit themselves not help other teams! If you ONLY stick randy moss and wes walker out on the field by themselves, do you think they are going to beat a whole team? 2 vs. 11? I think not. Yes these trades helped the Pats, but it didnt make them go 13-0!!!

I assume the Raiders because they didn't re-sign Moss, the Dolphins because they didn't re-sign Welker, and the Jets because they gave them the motivation? Should be interesting argument...

December 13, 2007  07:37 AM ET

oh is this what he may be getting at?
either way it wouldnt matter because its not like those 3 teams are just laying down and saying here is your crown.

December 13, 2007  07:39 AM ET

you know what interesting? willie parker gained 124 yards against the pats. not to shabby. not enough scoring though.

Then dispute what I said in your next arguemnt. Would NE be 13 - 0 right now without the contributions of these three teams?

December 13, 2007  08:24 AM ET

Well they beat the Colts and a few other good teams too- I mean that WEAK division is only going to get you to 6-0 the other 10 are out of it.
