I believe that the Dolphins will lose the rest of their games. The Dolphins quarterback situation is a mess. They have been alternating between Cleo Lemon(who???) and rookie John Beck, who may be a good quarterback in the future, but is lost right now.
It does not help the quarterbacks to have no weapons at all to use. Early in the season, the Dolphins traded their best wide receiver, Chris Chambers, for a second round draft pick, leaving their best wide receiver to be Marty Booker. At one time, Booker was a solid possesion receiver, but now he is on the serious downside of his career. In Chambers 6 games with the Dolphins before he was traded, he had 31 catches while Booker in 12 games has only 38. The other receivers are inexperienced and do not provide much help,
while the tight end position is mediocre.
The teams leading rusher(besides the injured Ronnie Brown), Jesse Chatman, is not even in the top 40 in rushing yards.
The defense, which has always been solid for the Dolphins, has been unable to stop the run this season, and is 32 in rushing yards allowed. The Dolphins are 30th in TO difference, and is near the bottom is sacks and Ints.

Well, outta the 3 games left they're definitely going to lose to the Pats, but the weather forecast for tomorrow vs my Ravens is rain and the Ravens are horrible in bad weather, trust me. Their QB situation is just about as bad as the Dolphins and they're without C-Mac (IR) and Rolle and Heap won't be playing either. The Dolphins, even w/ QB issues will be able to throw all over the Ravens, which is the only way to beat them actually. It won't matter who their receivers are. Look what they did to the Steelers in the rain on MNF w/ the same cast they have now !!! The Ravens offense is horrible too and Heap will still be out so that doesn't help either. Miami's D won't have any trouble stopping the Baltimore off, especially w/ the weather. The team knows the only 2 games they even have a shot at winning are Bal this week and Cincy the last week. Cincy's defense is horrible and believe it or not I could see Miami's D slowing them down plus who knows what weather will be in store for that game ? Let's see how they play this week, vs the Pats, and vs. the Bengals week 17 before we go writing them off, that's my opinion.

The weather in the Steeler game was not as much of a factor as the terrible field was. Neither offense was able to make plays. Anyways, the Dolphins can't throw on anyone, which won't change in this game. The Ravens, though struggling, still have the players that make a solid defense. Willis McGahee will run all over the defense, and he will be the deciding factor in the game. Being one of the top running backs this season, he should have no problem with the worst running defense in the league. The Ravens' offense even without Heap is far better than the Dolphins'. Kyle Boller, though a bad quarterback, still is good enough to be a starter in the NFL. The same shouldn't be said about Cleo Lemon, or John Beck, or whoever is starting for the Dolphins.
The Bengals offense still has the tools to be explosive, and the Dolphins will have no match for them.

A big problem I see is that for alot of the game Miami will match Jason Taylor up on rookie RT Marshal Yanda (not good for Baltimore). This will force the Ravens to run left side behind Brown and Ogden all-game which isn't good because Miami can key their defense to that side. Anythings possible for Miami. Case-in-point, the 49ers, w/ a 3rd string QB mind you, just beat the Bengals by 7 (shoulda been 10 though) and the Bengals are pretty healthy right now. If the worst offense in football can do that, another bad offense can beat (primarily throwing) the Ravens D. OR, let's say that Baltimore pulls the win out tomorrow, guess who Miami plays last ? Cincy. Now, after tonight if anyone is 100% sure Miami will lose that game i'm not sure what you're talking about after watching Cincy/San Fran. The 49ers even had the opportunity to go up by 10 w/ only 4 mins. left and turned it over by failing to get a 1st down on a 4th and 2 and Cincy STILL went right down the field and couldn't get it done. At least the Ravens have injuries and shoddy QB play and play calling to blame. What do the Bengals have to blame ? They can most definitely be upset by Miami plus their defense is just atrocious.

Well, I lost this throwdown. The Ravens blew a game they should have won. Anyways, good throwdown.

Report Offensive CommentLoS, you're losing because NOBODY actually thinks it's possible to go 0-16 as well as 16-0 (although they tend to believe the Patriots have the best shot at it) Plus nobody wants to think of the Dolphins having BOTH records

Report Offensive CommentI've been a loyal dolphins fan since the early 1970's. And a loyal Yankee fan through all the lean years. I stick with my guys; hate to say this, but the dolphins are cooked, demoralized and finished.
Wait till next year. Or the year after that. Or the year after that. If only Don Shula was a younger man and in control of the Dolphins.

Report Offensive CommentThere is no area, offensively or defensively, where the Dolphins have an advantage over any opponent. They can no longer threaten any sort of rushing attack, and they haven't pass protected all season. They have NO OFFENSE. Their defense is strained and exhausted. How many Safeties have they gone through this year? I don't see how they could beat anyone. 0-16 is a lock.
