No question in my mind it's Randy Moss. He's within 7 yards of leading the league in receiving yards and he leades the league and all RB's & WR's in TD's w/ 19!!! He's averaging 15 yds/catch and almost 100 yds/game too. Plus, he's 5th in the league in receptions, the #2 Patriot weapon on offense (behind Brady), and one of the main reasons why their offense and QB are having an even more explosive year than anyone previously had thought about. He also draws alot of double teams, opening up the slot for Welker and the other side of the field for Stallworth, Watson, etc. He's making everyone around him on offense better simply by stepping on the field and drawing the other teams top secondary players onto him.

I am going to say that the MVP is Tony Romo and here is why.

Tony Romo has good stats and he is a very good player. Here are his stats:
287 completions
426 attempts
67.4 completion %
3654 passing yards
35 TDs
14 INT
107.7 QB rating

He has MVP type numbers and he is 2nd in the NFL in TD passes, 2nd in QB rating, 7th in completions, 3rd in completion %, 3rd in passing yards.

Those are very good numbers and those deserve the MVP.

A WR doesn't usually win a MVP Award, but it isn't impossible. I just don't see Randy Moss winning it. I see a RB or a QB winning it.

Tony Romo is the 2nd best QB in the NFL and he is going to win the MVP. I don't see who is going to beat him out. I see Randy Moss coming in behind Romo.

Romo is a good young player and Moss is a good WR and I think that he is having a fantastic year this year, but I don't see him winning the MVP.

Romo is averaging 261 passing yards per game with 2.5 TDs per game. He is also averaging 1 INT per game, which isn't great, but okay.

Romo is doing great this year and 2-3 TDs a game with 261 passing yards a game is MVP type numbers.

My MVP goes to Romo. Just look at the stats. They will tell.

Tony Romo's stats are impressive. However, he's ALOT more error prone than Moss is. Case-in-point: Romo has thrown 14 INT's, that ties him for 27th out of the 32 starting QB's (Moss has ZERO fumbles). That's pretty bad for an MVP candidate. His QB rating in comparable w/ 2 other top QB's (Garrard & Roethlisburger) while Moss' #'s are only approached by T.O. and the only place he's close is in yds. On TD's Moss blows all the other receivers and RB's away while Brees and Favre are neck and neck w/ Romo in passing yds. He also hasn't pulled away from the pack in completion % either; his % is basically tied w/ 13 other top QB's but still below Brady's (of course). He's also 7th in completions in the NFL. He's having a great year but I just don't feel he's set himself apart like Moss has. You can argue that Moss is the best WR in the NFL this year (he is) but you can see that Brady and Favre are ahead of Romo this year, clearly. So, if you can't argue he's not the best QB then how can you really compare the two ?

You it is hard to compare a running back and a wide receiver, but Romo has been playing great this year and he deserves the MVP candidate.

Romo has the most TD passes ever by an NFC East QB and he has only played 13. He has four more than McNabb had in 2004, and Romo will score more.

Tony Romo is the reason why the Cowboys only have 1 loss. If he wasn't on the team, it really would alter the Dallas Cowboys season. If Moss wasn't on the team, it wouldn't effect the Patriots as much as the Cowboys would be affected.

Romo is a great QB and he has been playing very well this year. If Favre is neck and neck with Romo, and Favre is a good MVP candidate, wouldn't that mean that Romo is an MVP candidate? Yes, yes it does.

The Cowboys don't have the greatest WR either. Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton, and Terry Glenn (sorta), plus Jason Witten. Those aren't as many as what other QBs have. That is why he is the most valuable player of the NFL. Romo is able to make TO, Patrick Crayton, Glenn, and Witten even better than what they are.

You are an MVP if you make the players around you better, plus yourself better, and that your team needs you to win football games.

I still think that Moss makes the players around him better. He's made Brady better. Welker better. The entire offense better just by taking attention away from the other players and onto him (and he still produces when double teamed). Romo didn't exactly have a killer performance today. Moss has been far more consistent than Romo has this season.

Moss is a good player. He has made the offense better also. But Romo didn't? I beg to differ about that.

Romo is the reason the Cowboys only have 2 losses. Romo is the reason why TO is doing so good. Romo is the reason why Patrick Crayton has had some stats. Romo is the reason why Jason Witten is doing so well. Romo is the reason for the Cowboys success.

Moss hasn't made everyone better on offense. Romo has. Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth, Gaffney, Watson, Kyle Brady, those players were made better by Tom Brady, not Randy Moss. Romo has made all his offensive players better. The RBs, WRs, TEs, OL, everyone on offense.

Romo has been playing great this year and he is the MVP of the league this year.

Terpsfan Brady is Average and subpar without Moss? --- Moss arrived just this year Take a look back at 3-time Superbowl winner and 2 time superbowl MVP Brady and tell me again he is subpar without Moss or average without Moss. You have no clue what you are talking about. Take a seat in the back of the bus along with the other Patriot bashers
