This is the second SIFS Tourney, the best tourney on FanNation.

My sleeper pick is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Today proved a great point that they will need. Winning in elements. Odds are that they will go to New England in the playoffs. Today, they played in the snow in Pittsburgh and came out with the win They had their troubles, but every team does. What they proved is David Garrard can lead a warm weather team into the cold Northeast and come out with the win.

This year, the Jags went into Indy and hung with them until the very end. Two of their losses came against the Colts, a team that will end up getting a first round bye. Their others came early in the season when they were getting adjusted under a new starter. The Jags have the running game with Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor. Last year, all of the teams in the conference championships ran two-back systems much like the Jags. The Jags have the QB.

Garrard has shown that he can manage the game much like Ben Roethlisberger did in 2005. The Jags also have the defense that can defend against anyone. The defensive line is one of the best in the league. As a Colts fan, I know how good they are.

is Jax really a sleeper?

is 12-4 a Sleeper team? I mean unless you think the Raiders/Texans are going to raise up - even if they split and go 11-5 they are hardly a Dark Horse

Well in a Normal Year.

2. Here is what they have to do IF the playoffs end the way they are right now.

Round 1 - The Chargers- unless Norv pulls a Marv this should be where they go down- LDT and that D is playing VERY well and as much as I love Del Rio I don;t think he has the horses to go with a hot Chargers team (should be riding a SIX game winning streak- plus they will have them at home where they should be 7-1 - and lets not forget this Chargers team beat the Colts to kick off the streak.

IF they get by them- they run into the steamroller that is the Pats

say goodnight Gracie.

To be a real dark horse- you have to be in the NFC

You have to be Tampa Bay

How are they a Dark Horse?

1. Defense- They allow 16.5 points per game- second in the NFL and tops in the NFC. They are 1st in the NFC in Yards allowed and tops in the NFC in passing yards allowed.

2. Chucky - Number of NFC playoff coaches with a Ring- 2 Mike and Chucky- experience is a killer come playoff time

Forfeited Turn

and ongoing

3. Lets look at the Path the Bucs may have - Round 1 they might get the Saints or even the Giants

The Saints might present an issue but they have beaten them twice (once with Duce and Bush then once with just Bush) already and the third might not be an issue - The Giants present even less of a challange for them

Next? The Packers- this should be the fun matchup- but the Bucs pass D is going to be the hard part of this game- but who knows in the Tundra who is going to take that- and Jeff has played in the snow before as well.

After that we go to Big D- and again it comes down to Mr Simpson becasue the Boys will not be able to run either.

unlikely? Yes- but Dark horses are supposed to be- and who knows?

Go David! Plenty of room on the Buc wagon. Tampa traditionally plays Favre really well. That's the matchup I want in the 2nd round, even if they have to lose this weekend to San Francisco to get there.

Tampa has been flying under the radar all season. Those of us with the ticket and/or Ernest Graham on their fantasy team (I have both) know otherwise. Vote to David.
