Pryor was the first person told by Rodriguez, and he said to "add michigan to his list". He will follow Rodriguez because he wants to play for him, he likes his offense, and he did have Michigan on his early list, and now has more reason to go.
Anthony E. said 12/16, 05:10 PM
I don't think this is necessary at all. It is possible obviously, but a recruit does whats best for him academically as well. And Pryor was not first if you have any way to prove that, because the Michigan negotiators were the first to know probably and so was his team and family. But thats a minor flaw in your argument. Pryor will do what is best academically as well, and it is well known that West Virginia has less demanding academic standards than Michigan. Not by much but they do. (Before any West Virginia people get mad, there are stats to back that statement up.) And Pryor has just won a state championship at Jeanette and has many schools to choose from. Rodriguez was seen as a good coach because of how Slaton and White played for him. Before them, he was mediocre, and at Michigan the offense that WVA employed will take a year or two to get going because it will be like Bill Callahan trying to employ an NFL offense into Nebraska, except it will be Rodriguez trying to put a spread into Michigan. Sometimes it works, but even if it does, it takes a while for the players to get used to. It's a good point but I don't see that being the ONLY factor that goes into his decision.

Yes I know. The only reason for this TD is to see different ideas, but for people saying that he will go to PSU, that is not going to happen over OSU because PSU absolutely has a terrible basketball team.(Yes Michigan does also). Ohio State has a fairly good team. Wow. This TD is shifting from football to basketball.
Anthony E. said 12/16, 06:21 PM
Ok then let's get back on track. Well Michigan's team is not terrible. Its actually pretty decent. PSU'S? That's a different story. That is horrendous! (I'm a Temple Basketball fan) *no one laugh*. but anyway Penn State is closer to home for him anyway and would be the logical decision between PSU and mich. especially when you see how Galen Hall adapted real quick to the spread when Micheal Robinson was there, and will do it next year with Daryl Clark. Michigan will have a harder time adapting to that.

Yeah. But Michigan's team is having a rebuilding year. Still, he did seem pretty excited when he heard that Rodriguez was leaving for UM.

'I just spoke to Coach Rodriguez about 10 minutes ago and he told me he is going to Michigan,' the QB, Terrelle Pryor, told Superprep.com. 'He said they made him an offer he can't refuse.'

Report Offensive CommentThe Rodriguez hire worries me. His spread isn't a good match for Mallett. Malett isn't exactly mobile. He has some escapability but you need a runner to execute that offense.
