are both idiotic. the tejada trade is sooo dumb for houston. sure the orioles didnt get anything back, but what did houston get. an old worn out roidy who is gona have to move to 3rd (where he doesnt want to play) on a rebuilding team. stupid. and what did the cardinals get for edmonds? they apparently arent getting rid of rolen. so whats the point? i no this is a little old, but these trades are still really dumb

I don't think the Tejada trade is dumb. I think that it was actually a good trade, for the Orioles. The Astros got a good player, who has power and can hit for contact. He is a good player. He will help out the Astros SS wise a ton. The Astros gave up a little too much, but they got a good SS in return. The Astros will be better this way.

The Jim Edmonds trade was a good trade for both teams. The St. Louis Cardinals got a good young player and freed up some money. The Padres got a good OF, which they need, and they are going to be happy that they got him. He is a very good, athletic, and very good defensive OF. He is good hitting too. It was an overall good trade for both teams.

the astros already have a gold glove caliber ss in everett. tejada should play 3rd. and the cards got basically gave edmonds away for free

Everett went to the Twins.

"the cards got basically gave edmonds away for free"

What?????? The Cards got basically gave???? ****????

Alright, well Tejada has way better career stats, and had way better stats last year alone than the Astros SS last year. It was a good thing that the Astros got him because they needed a little more help hitting wise.

The Cardinals needed to get rid of him. He was taking up space and he was costing them too much. They just needed to get rid of him and that is why they gave him to the Cardinals for David Freese, a good young 3B.

All the teams got a good trade out of these two trades. Both of the those trades helped out both teams in some way.

Forfeited Turn

My arguement as above.

The Edmonds trade was good for both sides.
The Tejada trade was great for the Orioles, bad for the Astros.
