If they win tonight (game in progress), they will stand at 14-9(.608). That means they will have to go 36-23(.610) in in the remaining season. They have shown that they are capable of playing with the best. Yes, they are in the western conference and the teams are better than the opposite coast but the Lakers are better than what most people perceive them as. A record of at least 50-32 is something the Lakers can and will accomplish.

No they will come close but they won't win 50 games. They have to play tough teams almost every night being in the Western division.
44-38 is more likely. They are a good team but they are not as dominating as others. They have their hot nights with Kobe.

Not as dominating as others like who? If your prediction is 44-38 for their end record, it means they will go 30-29 for the rest of the season! Last time I checked you said they were a good team and thats not a record a good team would get. A good team like the Lakers would and will get at least 50 wins this season by the way they are playing, as a team.

Injuries or getting cold will not benefit. You are saying something that has so many of intangibles.
MH7KiNG said 12/17, 12:47 AM
True, but Lakers have a deep squad this year. Kwame is already injured and Bynum has stepped up. If im saying things that have intangibles then so are you. Im arguing that they will win 50 with or without a healthy squad, and by what it looks like so are you. The only difference is the amount of wins in our argument, and if thats not what you are doing, state so. Oh,and give specific intangibles.

Kobe misses a good strech of games they are SCREWED! It's possible they can we 50 but that's high hopes. They have a nice young team but nice young teams do not dominate in the NBA unless your ORLANDO.

Report Offensive CommentI think they have a very good shot at it, especially if they make an upgrade, before the Trading Ends.
