1. Brady
2. Manning
3. Derek Anderson - Has become one heck of a quarterback this season, getting the opportunity to shine with those great weapons to throw to like Edwards and Winslow
4. David Garrard - for getting a very good Jacksonville team in position to be great
5. Roethliesburger - Also on his game this year, a good up from being down last year.
After that, it would be a tossup between Cutler, Young, and Edwards.

i thought about putting garrad at 4 but i think that big ben is better then garrad eaven though garrads team beat big bens dosint mean that garrad is a better QB. i mean u could have the worst team in the NFL say the dolphins and have tom brady on there but that dosint mean hes a bad QB i just means hes on a good team.
i mean u do have to have a good team to be a good QB but still like i sead just cuz garrads team is better dosing mean anything
soxfan10000 said 12/18, 12:22 AM
Actually, I think that Garrard has better control (16 TD/2 INT vs. Ben's 29/11). Furthermore, Garrard's got a 101.6 rating to Ben's 100.5, and while that's not necessarily significant, Garrard has had much better ratings the last few weeks than Ben. Garrard's putting it all together at a time when Ben's just looking really good. So that's why I've got Garrard over Ben.

As for Anderson over the other two, my logic is simply that considering that Anderson has done so much in what could be considered a Drew Brees moment (when you know that you're simply supposed to be the guy that gets you to the next big thing), that his performance is particularly remarkable. I'd say that if Garrard continues his performance at the level he's been at, that he'd move ahead of Anderson at the end of the year.

Report Offensive CommentAccording to the stat that is supposed to encompass the all around play of the quarterback (the QB rating, duh), the list should look like this:
1. Brady
2. Garrard
3. Roethlisberger
4. Manning
5. Cutler

Report Offensive CommentPutting Anderson at number 2 is just absurd. In fact, he shouldn't be there at all. Look at his statistics.
He's 9th out of 17 in the AFC in Rating. He's thrown the 4th most INTs at 14. He's 16th out 17 in completion percentage.
Yes he's 4th in the AFC in TDs and Yards, but his peripherals are not good.

Report Offensive CommentFor someone to say Romo plays in the AFC because he read it on the internet trully doesnt know ANYTHING about football. ANYTHING. soxfan, for you to not catch that right away and comment is a shame lol. I vote for you because your list is more accurate but next time, call your opponent out on mistakes.
