Just to make it more interesting, I'll name 3 different players/Team. Makes no sense to have similar names. Hopefully I won't get owned by doing it this way.

QB:
1: Alex Smith
2: Vince Young
3: Matt Lienart
RB:
1: Ahman Green
2: Rudi Johnson
3: Reggie Bush
WR:
1: Javon Walker
2: Marvin Harrison
3: Mark Clayton
TE:
1: LJ Smith
2: Randy McMichael
3: Vernon Davis
Defense:
1: Dolphins
2: Panthers
3: Buffalo

ok your wide recieveers are overrated harrison adn walker both havve been injuried it isnt there fault they are busts, same for jake delhomme, u dont have to make it different, you could have done it in order, you want to make it in order, cause it isnt fair like thjis

Is that your argument? One looong run-on sentence. I thought this site was about debating and not just listing players and using that to get votes. Oh well, i'll get slaughtered but here goes my attempt...

Your list also consist of injured players...LJ, Alexander(playing injured and banged up all season), and Heap.

Some of the players on my list were obviously effected by injury. If you were to draft a player in the higher rounds and they do ABSOLUTELY nothing for your fantasy team, they are considered bust, injured or not.

Other players were chosen based on potential and last years numbers. Example, Smith & Leinart had a year of experience under their belts & additions to their offense during the off season. They were expected to improve on last years numbers but prove to be bust in fantasy and reality. The defenses that I have chosen were some of the top defenses last year. All 3 defense have 20 less sacks from last year. All teams have giving up more yards and points per game, a large decline from last years dominate defense.

last year none of those defensees were dominant, maybe miami for a couple of games and maybe a lil carolind, bbut they werent domiant, the bears were monsters last year before tommie harris got hurt, they allowed like 10 points a gamae and there defense single-handily beat teams such as the cardinals in that monday nighter, the ravens were also dominant and last i check made celo lemon look decent.

shaun has played at least half of the season and ok my bad for heap, but harrison and walker have been injuried most of the season and it hasnt been fair. alex smith didnt have big potenial, lineart did, but not smith. the biggest bust has to be marc bulger, with all the things going for him, an improved defense, steve jackson, 3 wideout set with holt, bruce, bennett, and boom offensive line, which lead to int's and stastically his worst season ever.

Forfeited Turn

Didn't notice you put Young also so i'll change my pick to Jake Delhoumme.

December 20, 2007  07:20 PM ET

you guys should go non-injury related... of course a guy who isnt on the field is a bust

December 20, 2007  07:21 PM ET

I admire you for trying to challenge yourself... But most of the people you listed werent really even expected to have big seasons. Smith wasnt even drafted in our league, and Lienart was taken in like the last round. Nothing much was expected out of Green or Clayton either.

Ill wait to vote though until some arguments are thrown out.

December 20, 2007  07:23 PM ET

The rules were not stated in his argument or topic BigGUW. But if that were the case, how can I argue against his list?

December 20, 2007  07:28 PM ET

There were quite a few you couldve argued agaisnt. I think Young and Rivers are weak picks for qb... And i think Benson is another weak pick. You couldve argued all of his wrs too.

December 20, 2007  07:28 PM ET

Took me forever to put together that list packfan. His list is too OBVIOUS. So I figured it'll be more interesting for me to switch it up and try to argue it lol

December 20, 2007  07:29 PM ET

You could argue that Rivers and Young werent bust?

December 20, 2007  07:31 PM ET

No... They were. But going into the season they werent really top-notch qbs per say...

Like I said, Ill wait for some arguments before I vote. You didnt take the obvious picks which I like.

December 20, 2007  07:38 PM ET

I'm not penalizing you, and I also have not voted yet, I'm just saying... is Ronnie Brown technically a bust? While he was in he was a top 3 fantasy guy and most likely 2 in ppr leagues, but he'll end up way down the board.

December 20, 2007  07:39 PM ET

Like I said packfan, I would rahter keep it interesting lol. Don't see a point in arguing between 1 or 2 players. Lets see how his next argument goes.

December 20, 2007  07:42 PM ET

I was gonna put Ronnie in because he surely hurt my chances this year lol.

December 20, 2007  07:43 PM ET

Young Rivers Bush are bust and whoever picked Benson in their fantasy team must be higher then a kite, unless they didnt see the same super bowl as me. But I want to wait also for some argument because as packfan4 says u challenged urself to make different picks so I just want to c u justify them
