Kobe or MJ.........

Kobe.......

5-3 head to head against Jordan

Kobe, 22.8ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.9apg, 0.9spg, 0.6bpg, 46.6%, 55.2% on 3's, 75.9% on FT's in 29mpg

Jordan, 24.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.6 apg, 1.1spg, 0.5bpg, 43.6%, 30% on 3's, 75% on FT's in 35mpg

As great offensively as Jordan was: He never scored 81 points in a game

And for the hater's......Lakers were getting pounded by the Raps (LOL) when he took the game over, so save the ball hog comment.......He was the reason they won the game.......

Defensively, well Jordan made only 43.6% of his shots and Kobe made 46.6% and 55% of his 3's: You be the judge.......

Are you serious? You are saying that Kobe is better than MJ because he is better in 8 games? Ever heard of an off game? Jordan was much better defensively and I have no idea how you can argue that. MJ is the greatest of all time. He was on the team with the best record of all time. He led the Bulls to 6 NBA Championship victories, and in all 6 he was the MVP (NBA record). He had 2 three peats in his career. He has the most consecutive games scoring in double digits with 866 and had 10 NBA scoring titles! Jordan was on the ALL NBA DEFENSIVE TEAM 9 times on the FIRST team. He was on the ALL NBA TEAM 11 times and won MVP 5 times while he was the rookie of the year and the 1991 Sportsman of the year.

Kobe is just entering his prime, Jenkster......Jordan is retired.......Kobe has another 5-6 years at least before he even starts to slip......

Kobe played with a dominant player in Shaq while Jordan had a compliementary piece in Pippen=That is why Jordan won so many scoring title's.....

Lakers are 15-9 this year, about to go 16-9, with Kobe playing more team oriented this year

As great as Jordan is and was, Kobe burned him for 55 points on 0328-2003

On 02-12-2003, Kobe had a triple double against Jordan: 23points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists

In 48mpg head to head, Kobe 37.5ppg, 7.2rpg, 6.4apg, 1.4spg, 1.0bpg
Jordan, 33.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.9apg, 1.5spg, 0.7bpg

What? Kobe is in his prime now and he will be out of the league in about 6 years so unless he wins 5 MVP awards in 6 years I am good. Plus his team is going no where and fast. I wouldn't be expecting another NBA title out of him. Did you not just see what I wrote? You can't judge a player for how he played against someone else in 8 games. You are taking a TINY sample of these players careers and it doesn't even matter. If Jason Williams has more head to head points a game against Nash than Nash does, is Williams the better player? What about Okafor to Garnett? Your reasoning is completely flawed so use something else.

According to you, Kobe is better then MJ because he took the series at a weak 5-3. Lets not forget Kobe had Shaq. Shaq is better than Kobe. I think Kobe has done a very good job of proving that he can't lead his team to anything without Shaq. As soon as MJ left the Bulls they started losing big time. Jordan has a total of 11 MVP awards from regular season and NBA final MVPs. He is much more valuable than Kobe is and Kobe brings nothing but trouble to his teams. Jordan didn't force players out of his team because it would help him to score more. He was all about te

What did Jordan win without Pippen??? That's right.......nothing......That argument is so stupid and weak because all great teams have more than just 1 GREAT PLAYER.......

Out of the League in 6 years??? LOL, yeah......Hardly......

Kobe isnt the GM, Buss wanted Shaq gone......I am a big Shaq fan and I really could care less about Kobe, but he is a Laker and Laker fans support their players.....Shaq opened up his big fat mouth and Buss wasnt going to have a player call him out......That was a business decision, keep an aging player or go with the younger stud who can still keep fans coming to the games.....

Its nowhere fast by the way not nowhere and fast.....

And yes it it was an easy win for you because Fan Nation loves Jordan and crucifies Kobe even though they are very similar in their playing the game and their personal character flaws.....

Listen dj, stick to the throwdown. You can leave the easy win crap for the arguments but I really think it is sad that you care so much about someone undefeated on a sports website.

Anyway, sorry readers, so you are saying that Pippen is better than MJ? That was not a weak argument, just an absolutley terrible counter argument. I am saying that Shaq was the best player on the Lakers. Kobe wasn't. MJ was always the best player on his team and he didn't get nearly as much help as Kobe did. Pippen could not do anything without MJ proving MJ was the team. When Pippen tried to step up it backfired right in his face. MJ has more MVPs, NBA Titles, better seasonal record, more PPG on his career, better defensively and offensively, and he is considered by almost all the greatest player in the NBA of all time. Kobe has only led the league in scoring 2 times compared to MJ who has done it 10 times. It shows that MJ was much more dominate than Kobe who shares the scoring titles with others. MJ owned it.

Jordan as you said had .2 more steals per game which doesn't sound like a lot but it makes a huge difference in a game and a season. Micheal Jordan had more all-star games too. 14 to 9.

Should I take this dj or is this an "easy win"?

I personally didnt create this to win it

But to argue it

Everybody loves demi-god that is Jordan and crucifies Kobe

Even though they are very similar

Where did you get your stats dj?

Here's what I found when I looked them up:

Jordan, 30.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 5.3apg, 2.3spg, 0.8bpg, 49.7%, 33% on 3's, 83.5% on FT's, in 38mpg
