Winter is the best sports season.

Just think: you have basketball (college and NBA), football (college and NFL), and you have things such as the winter x games and occasionally the winter olympics. Not to mention things such as the baseball hot stove, super bowl, and BCS championship game.


At most I say half and half.. Summer sports are pretty sweet too, Golf(PGA), Baseball World series, Surfing, Wakebarding. It's just that people pay less attention during the summer because they are usually out doing something else. But both seasons I think are evenly good.


So your not really arguing your agreeing with me...o..k. First of all, the world series are in the fall (FALL classic) and second of all, the super bowl gets much better ratings than the world series. Also, during the winter college basketball is in its prime of the season and the BCS bowl games are being played.


I'm not agreeing with you, your saying winter is better im saying they are even.. are you dumb. I'll give you that I guess.. but what about soccer? That may not be famed up here but it is in Europe. The FA cup etc. Also the FIFA world cup... I'm not even European and I get excited about it. Football is considered a summer sport that is played in the winter.


Yes soccer is very popular, the worlds most popular sport in fact. However the FA cup is played primarily in the spring. The world cup is played in the summer though. Even with this, I believe that winter is still the better sports season because two of americas most popular sports are in their prime.

P.S. You played it pretty safe here. I was really looking for someone who would flat out pick another season. That was pretty weak on your part.


There is also the tour de france. Many other major events.
Why did you forget about hockey? well the playoffs go into a bit of spring..

The other seasons are too short. I didn't play it safe. You have no clue what you're talking about.

I have to say fall. You have the baseball playoffs and football both college and pro starting, the NHL getting started, all of this before that debacle of a league the NBA starts going and is shoved down everybodys' throats by ESPN.
