roddy white vs brandon marshall

Two of the biggest breakout players at there posistion. I would take White over Marshall though, because of many reasons. Marshall has the off- the field issues that he drove under influence and could face some time. It is also amazing that Roddy White can get 1,000 yards he is at [999 right now] with three mediocore qb's in harrington, leftwech, and redman. Marshall had the up coming star Jay Cutler.

White is a better deep-threat than Marshall, also with white having 16.1 yards a catch, marshall just 13.2. I know Marshall has more yards becuase he has 86 catches to roddy's 66. marshall has more than td's than White, but look at White's td's most of them were 15 or more.
Week 3: Known as Round 1 Deangelo Hall vs Steve Smirh, well ROddy had 112 yards this year and broke two tackles for a 69 yard td and a great flip to end it
Week 11: Thanksgiving it was a blowout but Roddy's 46 yard fade was great way to start a game and it was on a joey harrington deep ball.
week 12: 17 yard lob vs the rams from redman, roddy had a season high in catches that game 10 for 132 yards
week 13: The infamous Free Vick touchdown 33 yard lob BURNING MIKE MCENZIE.


Alright I got Brandon Marshall over Roddy White and here is why.

Marshall has 1,136 receiving yards and White has 999 receiving yards. So Marshall has much more receiving yards as of right now. Also Marshall has 6 TD and White has 5 TD, so Marshall has 1 more TD also.

Now one of the biggest stats here in my mind is 1st down catches. Marshall has 59 catches in which he got a 1st down. White has 41 first down catches. So Marshall keeps the chain moving with catches that keep the drive alive.

Marshall is better at not fumbling the ball. Marshall has 2 fumbles and has only lost 1 of those. White has 3 fumbles and has lost 2 of them. So in a close game White has a better chance of fumbling and turning the ball over.

Yes, White has a better AVG, but that is because he has less catches. Marshall has way more catches which shows his is doing his job by getting open for that the QB can get the ball to him.

Marshall is more consistent than White by only having 3 games of 65 yards or under and White has 8 games of 65 yards or under.

Cutler is no Peyton Manning or Tom Brady either.

The Falcons have 486 passing attempts and the Broncos have 446 attempts.

wow, can you believe this? White over Marshall? I know I'm a Broncos fan but..... geeze, if you'd watch Marshall, he has way more potential. If he stays away from injuries and legal problems, he will be one of the greatest WR's of all time.
