which NCAA basketball confernce is the best?

Here is the break down of teams from each conference in the AP 25
Big East-4, (6,8,12,18)
ACC-4, (1,10,19,21)
Big 10-2, (7,13)
Big 12-3, (3,9,14)
SEC-3, (11,15,22)
PAC 10-4, (4,5,17,24)

It has to be the Big East.
Yes the ACC is very talented but they do not come close in talent to the Big East. Pitt just beat Duke. The last two Big East teams have lower (better) rankings then The last two ACC teams. The Big 10 has little talent, and besides why are they still called the Big 10 there are 11 teams! The Big 12 has one good team Kansas. The other teams are so overated. The SEC is very weak. Enough said. The Pac 10 is strong and you could make and arguement but when it is all said and done the Big East is the most competitive team in the NCAA.


What seriously ticks me off, bear with me, I'm trying to use multiple words in place of a really big word; is when someone TD's and you look at the title on the home page - the spelling and or grammar is horrendous.
It's Con-fer-ence.

No offense to you personally.

I'm just looking for some sanity while my house is torn apart today.
Please, re-post the TD. your argument is good! However, the title alone will hurt you.

just go with it man. Its pretty obvious, judging by his argument that pittfan isnt one of those guys who misspell the word sports. its just a typo and really doesnt affect his argument at all.

texas overrated in the Big 12? im sorry i can't fathom that at all. but the Pac-10 is definitely good as well. if KPKahder takes that route with a good argument i will go with her. other else no vote until i see a real first argument.

Saying the Big 12 is a one team conference is just plain nonsense.
Didn't Texas beat then #7 Tennessee by double digits and win at #1 UCLA

Texas AM is very very good and deserve their ranking.
Heck even 2 non top 25 teams are young and moving up with OU and Baylor. OU beating Arkansas (then #26) and Gonzaga -- 2 solid quality wins. Heck they even hung with Memphis at the Garden until the very end.

Baylor nearly beat #7 Wash State and won at Notre Dame and beat South Carolina. Heck even Nebraska just finished knocking off top 20 Oregon.

So are they the best No -- but saying 1 team conference is ludicrous
