The Giants are a flat out better team than the Buccaneers. The Bucs are without Cadillac, and the Bucs D isnt big and strong enough to stop the Giants running game. Ronde Barber is the Bucs only threat.

Flat out better than the Buccaneers? I have to disagree:

Giants: 10-5, Buccaneers: 9-6

Giants Ranks:
Offense - 15th
Defense - 6th

Buccaneers Ranks:
Offense - 18th
Defense - 2nd

Well, that proves that they are NOT flat out better.

Also, you said their defense is not strong enough to stop the Buccaneers? Well, look at this:

- 2nd in YPG Allowed (273.7 YDS)
- 1st in Points Per Game Allowed (15.9 Points)

Now, the Buccaneers have been without Cadillac Williams almost the whole year, and look at their running game still, combined:

- 1,147 Yards
- 10 TD's
- 0 Fumbles
- 0 Fumbles Lost

Cadillac Williams being gone is not going to effect this game, if they have Earnest Graham.

Ronde Barber is the biggest threat, eh?

The rest of the Buccaneers 2nd ranked defense isn't going to be a problem at all? I think it will be for them.

Well, I argued what you said so far, I am done for now, I guess.

Have the Bucs ever played a 6-4, 265 pound running back? Only 4 Buccaneer players are bigger than him!! And with good blocking, they can run on them all day. They wont even need Eli to step up igf Jacobs is gonna pound them. The Giants defense will get a jump start, because they will be excited to play in warm weather again after the 2 terrible games against the Bills and Skins.

Well, look at what you said right here:

"Have the Bucs ever played a 6-4, 265 pound running back? Only 4 Buccaneer players are bigger than him!! And with good blocking, they can run on them all day."

Have you ever heard of the saying, "The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall"?

Well, that must be where it comes in. So 4 defensive players can stand up against another running back, that isn't even as good as at LEAST 10 others? The Buccaneers have played against BETTER running backs, I don't think there will be a big problem here for them either...

Here is the thing, kiddo. The Buccaneers defense is too good for them. Eli Manning has been bad this year when it has counted, like against the Cowboys, he wasn't very productive, and the Vikings defense about killed Eli Manning and his passing.

This is why I don't think the Giants will win:

1) The Buccaneers can stop the run
2) Eli Manning isn't a great QB...
3) The Bucs defense is LITERALLY 3x better than the Giants

I still have the Bucs, this is your last shot to convince me the Giants will com out on top...

Ok. There are 2 kinds of defenses. Speedy and short, or muscely and powerful. The Bucs D is the Speedy and short kind of defense. If Jacobs can't do anything with the run, they'll put in Bradshaw, another valueable threat. Eli won't be able to throw to Plaxico, due to Ronde over there and Plex's bad ankle and knee, but Amani will find ways to get open and get the ball. Last year, the Giants played a TOUGH Eagles team and only lost to the by 3. The Giants will come to play with their running game w/Jacobs, then running game w/Bradshaw, then go to the passing.

Look at what you said, to start out:

"Ok. There are 2 kinds of defenses. Speedy and short, or muscely and powerful."

I thought the 2 kinds of defenses were a 3-4 and a 4-3 defense...

Here is the next thing you said:

"The Bucs D is the Speedy and short kind of defense."

The Buccaneers have a 4-3 Defense...

Here is the following thing you said:

"If Jacobs can't do anything with the run, they'll put in Bradshaw, another valueable threat. Eli won't be able to throw to Plaxico, due to Ronde over there and Plex's bad ankle and knee, but Amani will find ways to get open and get the ball."

If Jacobs can't do anything, I think they are done. Bradshaw isn't even as good as Jacobs, so how will he do better? He won't do any better. Now, Amani Toomer will get open, BUT do you know who is throwing the ball hopefully somewhere in his direction? Eli Manning... I have said enough there.

The last of your argument was LAST YEAR, and it was against the Eagles..., they are playing the Bucs this year, a completely different team.

What are you talking about? The Playoffs?

December 26, 2007  05:21 PM ET

December 26, 2007  05:25 PM ET

Eli will chock once again, TB wins this game.

December 26, 2007  05:25 PM ET

that should be choke...lol......

December 26, 2007  05:28 PM ET

LOL

Tampa's D is 10X better then Buffalo's D. Eli was embarrased by the Bills. If it wasnt for the lack of a Run D, the Giants wouldnt even be in the playoffs

December 26, 2007  05:30 PM ET

YES THE PLAYOFFS!!!

December 26, 2007  05:33 PM ET

December 26, 2007  05:50 PM ET

Wow, this is your argument to support New York? The Teeter-Totter Giants? Amazing...

Gotta go with the guy who comes in with salient information... remember, tackling isn't all about just how much one weighs...

I have Tampa as a potential dark-horse in the playoffs... read here, then you will understand why they will take the Giants out...

Wow, I'm the biggest Tampa fan on the site, and I could have argued the Giants winning better than this.

December 26, 2007  06:17 PM ET

Really, who couldn't?

Lol

December 26, 2007  06:28 PM ET

Exactly... sputtering sentence fragments and lighting things on fire would have been a better argument...

December 26, 2007  06:47 PM ET

Man, I love Eli to death (although he DOES need to get out of NY)...but, I can't see the Giants winning that matchup.
(And I'm NOT saying that just because of the Redskins game the other week.)
Bigalke, I think you and I are doing wise to stay out of these TDs until we see facts.

December 26, 2007  06:51 PM ET

Sports Nut, did you even look at my 1st argument?

All I used were stats...

December 27, 2007  01:36 PM ET
