K, we arent going to argue about bench till our last arguement so lets argue about starters now...
Boozer vs. Anthony
ppg. 25 vs. 25 (tie)
rpg. 12 vs. 7 (Boozer wins)
apg. 3 vs. 4 (Anthony wins)
fg% 56% vs. 45% (Boozer wins)
Overall: Boozer wins 2.5 vs. 1.5
Boozer gets 5 more rebounds per game shoots 10% better fg% and gets only 1 less assist. They are both popular among fans so that won't really matter either. Also fans may want to do something different then electing Anthony every year.

Well one of the main resons I chose Carmelo over Boozer was his ability to shoot three pointers. It adds just a little more of a threat when your forward can throw down a three pointer in the all-star game for the fans. And popularity is just an opinionated part of this throwdown. We both know that there is no way either of us can argue who is more popular. I feel Carmelo is more popular because I'm on the west coast and hear of him a lot more than Boozer.

So with Anthony you have same amount of points, few less rebounds, one more assist, and few less FG%, BUT you have the three point stretch, that's the only reason I chose him over Boozer.

A few less rebounds? Boozer nearly doubles him in rebounds!!! A few less fg%? Boozer has 10% better!!! Neither of those are a few they are a lot! Yes Anthony can hit 3pters but Boozer is a much better dunker, so Boozer can have entertaining dunks just like Anthony can have 3s. Now for benchs.... fans don't vote for the bench so popularity matters a little less.
Stoudamire vs. Kaman- they get about the same amount of points per game but Kaman gets like 6 more rebounds and 1 more block per game than Stoudamire. Those are the stats that really matter for a center adn Kaman kills him in them.
Mcgrady vs. Howard- Once again, they get like the same amount of points, however Howard gets more rebounds and Mcgrady gets more assists. They are pretty even.

So for starters I win and for bench I also win!!!

I just believe the fans will ultimately vote Carmelo over Boozer. He's pretty far behind right now in the votes. I do think Boozer deserves to be on the team, just don't think he'll start.

Stoudemire might get more rebounds, but he also has taken some three's, and has almost 10% better field goal percentage (57.5% to 47.9%) And I don't know about Kaman killing him in overall but again it's opinionated.

As for Howard, I don't know why you put him up against my Mcgrady. I put Howard on the bench with my picks too. Don't know why you are arguing that.

I put Mcgrady instead of your Al Jefferson. Guess you didn't read the list.

Stoudemire over Kamen
Roy over Howard

Stoudemire over Kamen

what? no way!

Report Offensive Comment

Yes, Stoudemire over Kaman. In the throwdown, it specifically says that popularity matters. Amare is definitely more popular than Kaman.

Report Offensive Comment

Popularity only matters in the starters. Backups are not decided by the fans.

Report Offensive Comment

yah you only choose starters when you vote

I may not be able to get back to this so soon cuz im going away for half of today and tommorow so plz don't blame me if I have to forfeit an arguement

The media voters will put Stoudemire ahead of Kaman as well. Don't forget he was first team all NBA last year and those are the same people picking the All Star bench.

Boozer won't start as he's currently 500,000 votes behind Duncan, Melo & Dirk for the 2 foward spots.

The problem with both your line-ups are Steve Nash. He should absoultely start but since the ballot simply states "Guard", there won't be a point guard in the starting line-up.

Kobe and T-Mac are your starting guards.
