Charles Barkley

Karl Malone is arguably the greatest power forward of all time. Built more like a tight end than a basketball player, his size and strength made him difficult to defend in the low block, but he also filled the lane on the fast break and shot a deadly medium-range jumper. The 2 time MVP finished his career with 36,928 points 2nd only behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
He also attempted more free throws and grabbed more defensive rebounds than any player in NBA history. He was also selected to the 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and won two Olympic gold medals.
In 1988, he also began a string of 11 consecutive All-Star Team selections and in 1989 started a streak of 11 consecutive berths on the All-NBA First Team.
He had career regular season averages of 25.0 ppg and 10.1 rpg while his playoff averages were 24.7 and 10.7 rpg. Career Assists- 5,248. He could dish as well as score, the apg is better than some guards
How many times did Barkley make it to the big game, because Malone made it 3 times, twice with the Jazz and once with the Lakers.

Charles Barkely only played 16 seasons to The Mail Man's 19, so his statistics are a little more behind. He also played more than 400 games than Chuck. Chuck was an undersized forward by height, not width and still had more rebounds per game, 11.7, to KM's 10.1, a full rebound and then some. He has more assists which most of the time isn't a stat that people don't look at for forwards and centers. Chuck also had a string of All-Star appearances with 10 in a row. Barkley could also shoot 3's, making 538 to Malone's 85. I know Malone wasn't supposed to shoot 3's, but this just shows that Chuck was a more all around player.

He is and was more than just a scorer, check out these stats:
Scored in double figures 575 consecutive games, third longest streak in NBA history behind Michael Jordan (840) and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar (787), from December 18, 1991 through March 26, 1999
2,085 steals puts Karl at 9th all-time (Stockton leads with 3,265)
Holds NBA record for most consecutive seasons (11) with 2,000 or more points and most total seasons (12) with 2,000 plus points
Played in career-high 543 consecutive games from December 18,1991 to April 8, 1998, with streak ending due to league suspension
Played all 82 games in a season 10 times, tied for third all-time (14- John Stockton, A.C. Green, 10-Randy Smith)
Ranks behind only John Stockton (1,504) for most games played with one franchise at 1,434
Has scored 50+ points four times, 40+ 44 times, 30+ 427 times
Jazz were 312-115 (.731) when the Mailman scored 30 or more points
Registered three triple-doubles in his career
Is sixth on the league's all-time rebounding list (14,968)
19 years in the playoffs ties Karl with John Stocton for most in NBA history
4,761 playoff points ranks third behind Jordan (5,987) and Abdul-Jabaar (5,762)

We can't compare both Karl and Chuck just on pure numbers, there has to be averages since Karl has played in a lot more games. But here are Sir Charles's accomplishments.
Selected to both the All-NBA First Team and All-NBA Second Team five times, All-NBA Third team once
All Rookie team in 1984
Earned eleven NBA All-Star Game appearances and was named the All-Star MVP in 1991
NBA MVP in 1993
2 Gold Medals in 1992 and 1996
12,546 rebounds in his career
He led the NBA in offensive rebounding for three straight years
Finished second All-Time leader in steals for the power forward position
Finished among the All-Time leaders in blocked shots
He retired as one of only four players in NBA history to record at least 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 4,000 assists in their career
All of this and more in a 16 year career.
