believe it or not, im not gonna say deangelo hall, i would still go with champ bailey. He is stil dominant, although his stats are down 3 ints and 12 pass defensed. The Broncos run d is just horrible and teams would rather run at this undersized bunch, then risk throwing at Bailey. Even when temas throw, they will sometimes test dre bly, although bly is having a good season 5 ints 14 pass defensed, or just throw slants.
bailey can still make wide recivers confused and he can be physical with moss, who is prone to dropping passes. Moss also takes his plays off and althouhg he is fast, I don't think any other cornerback could run with moss better than mr.bailey.I also think Tom Brady would find away to get hte ball to other targets than moss, such as welker, stallworth, watson, gaffeney, kevin faulk.

You went a differend route than what the topic was.You said pick one corner to put on moss.So it would be Bailey.Forget the rest of the defense and forget the other targets on the Pats squad.Baileyis better than Hall by far and would give moss a much bigger test.Yea Brady would find other targets but that just means bailey is doing his job.

Report Offensive CommentDeanglo Hall is mouthy and not as good as he thinks he is. He said he was going to shutdown Chad Johnson and Johnson burned him several times. Champ Bailey is the best shutdown corner in the leaugue hand down.

Report Offensive CommentActually the way to stop Moss has NOTHING to do with your CB, it is all about the S. He is afraid of the big hit.
In Oakland he never broke out against Denver b/c he would quit on routes if he heard footsteps from Lynch
The two teams that have done the best with him this season have had Ed Reed and Brian Dawkins in or around him on most plays.
BSchwartz07 | 12/30/07, 03:25 PM
Report Offensive CommentThe reason Moss quit in Oakland is because the Raiders didn't have a QB that could get him the ball.

Report Offensive CommentA lot of guys with any character would have played their best until the situation changed. New QB, new team. You don't just let down the management, you mess with your teammates also.

Report Offensive CommentMoss can school any CB or FS in the league. The only way you might stand a chance at stopping him is to either get real physical with him or get to the QB so he don't have time to get him the ball.
