I'm assuming this is based on this year alone, and not past achievements.
QB: Tom Brady/ Brett Favre
WR: Randy Moss/ Terrell Owens
RB: Brian Westbrook/ Adrian Peterson
TE: Antonio Gates/ Tony Gonzalez
CB: Asante Samuel/ Champ Bailey
SS: If I have to take one give me Bob Sanders, if I have to take two give me Sharper

marcus trufant or antonio crownartie should be on there. trufant has 78 TK, 7 AST, 7 INT,150 INT yards and 1 defensive TD. now antonio crowmartie has 33 TK, 4 AST,10 INT, 144 INT yards and 2 defensive TD. now for champ and asante.
champ has 66 TK,13 AST,3 INT,3 INT yards and 1 defensive TD. now asante has 43 TK,3 AST,6 INT,89 INT yards and 1 defensive TD.
now if u ask me it looks like crowmartie and trufant have done better this year. now rodney harrison has had 52 TK,14 AST,2 sacks,1 int and 2 INT yards.
now bob sanders has 72 TK 3.5 sacks and 32 int yards. now sanders may be having a little better year but i still think rodney is better.

Cromartie wasn't good enough to be a starter at the beginning of the season. He had a nice '07 campaign, but that definitely doesn't nudge him ahead of Champ Bailey who's been a pro bowler 8 times, or Asante Samuel who's played at a high level for the past two years, as opposed to Cromarite who has played well for a bout half of the season.
There's a reason the Colts made Sanders the highest paid safety in NFL history. He's without a doubt one of the hardest hitting safeties in the league, and he covers extremely well.
I like Rodney Harrison, but he just isn't all that good in coverage. Also, the man has been a huge injury risk over the past few seasons. I like Sanders over him.

rodney is just as hard hitting as sanders and i ment to put this season but i didint but i also didint say the best of alltime so u shouldint be going of with people that arnt doing that good this year like champ baily and sharper.

Bailey and Sharper were both good enough to make the pro bowl this year. I know that's voted on by the players so it's not exactly the best way of determining whos better than who, but that doesn't make Harrison better than Sanders.
Sanders is a lot better in coverage than Harrison is. Also he's one of the few safeties in the league that plays a huge role in stopping the run. Last year the Colts defense let up around over 170 yards on the ground per game without Sanders, and let up close to 80 with him.
