What's more more impressive? repeating as Superbowl champion, as the Greenami Pittsco Cowbroncriots have all done (Packers, Dolphins, Steelers (twice), Niners, Cowboys, Broncos and Patriots (and Colts in 1month..hehe) or making it to 4 consecutive superbowls, which has only been accomplished by the '90's Bills. I will go with the accomplishment that has been rarer. It is harder to go to 4 straight.
Although the Bills lost those bowls, the fact that they made it 4 years in a row is a remarkable acheivement. Only one other team has even made 3 in a row. While a repeat has happened 8 (going on nine) times. So there is value in rarity.
So even though the Bills have nothing to show for it, their run is the most impressive in the Superbowl era.

Its more impressive that they made it to the Sb twice and won it than the Bills. They only won it once out of those SBs. Ya so its a good achivment that they made it to the Sb 4 times. but the thing about that is that they only won it once.

Well... um... the Bills never won a SB. I even said said that in my argument in case you weren't aware... Obviously, you weren't aware, or you wouldn't have stated that they did win one.
I don't know what more I can do to refute your argument other than to tell you once again that the Bills never won a Superbowl.

Okay that makes it more nonimpressive. They went to the Sb FOUR times. And they havent won. It is impressive to go to the Sb twice in consecutive years and won it both times they went.

This debate is making me depressed. The US public education system has gone down the toilet with Bush. But help is on the way in the form of Barry O. I hope to God that he will get books in schools...

wat the hell??

Tough one....I want to lean towards the Bills going to 4 straight SBs, but they went to the SB x 4 in an era where free agency didn't exist.

Huh? Is Buccaneer4Life under the impression that the Bill won a Super Bowl?

January 4, 2008  01:22 PM ET

Goodell must be working a Vulcan mind trick on him.

" I hope to God that he will get books in schools"

Yeah, no school should be without "Super Bowl Winners of the last 40 years." That class ruled. Too bad Evil Bush did away with that part of the curriculum.

What does this have to do with the throw down?

January 4, 2008  01:37 PM ET

Look at his arguments, goat... they're illiterate...

January 4, 2008  01:43 PM ET

Ruby is hated that much on here that bucneer gets 5 votes with illiterate ramblings? thats unfortunate. HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE BILLS LOST ALL 4 SUERBOWLS PEOPLE! lol

History is written by conquerors. The Bills were the toast of a thin AFC and were impressive in making it to the show 4 straight years. But they lost.

Repeating in any sport is very difficult, and I give credit to teams who pull it off. Once you win, you're marked with a bullseye. To repeat, you have to get even better against a tougher schedule.

However, Buc's arguments are confusing to me, and the Bills didn't win 1 out of 4, so I'm at a loss as to what to do here...

LMAO! His name is Barak Obama. Not Barry O. Don't try to hide his Muslim roots.

Bush would get books Ruby but after you used the last ones for toilet paper he was kinda discouraged.

January 4, 2008  02:04 PM ET

LOL

January 4, 2008  02:15 PM ET

umm buffalo never won it. its more impressive to play in four straight because noone else has done it.

"more nonimpressive."

You could just go with "less impressive"...
