THIS YEAR. who was expected to be really good and wasnt. my pick. jp losman. doesnt even start anymore. showed signs of a franchise qb. huge bust

nahhhhhhhhhhhhh..........!!!!!!!!!! I'll go with Rex Grossman ! Poor guy goes from starting Super Bowl Quarterback to most likely not even being a starter in the NFL next year. So SAD !!! He most definately will not be on Da Bears.... next year, He's lucky if anyone picks him up ! But since the ranks of QB's in the league are thin he will get a job somewhere. Not as a starter though so i feel he is by far the biggest disapointment in the league this season with out a doubt.
Just think end of last year the losing starting QB in the Super Bowl to not even a starter the followin year. Short of injury this is a travesty and im sure he crys himself to sleep every night.............Da Bears

losman also went from starter to barely a backup. the only reason grossman was a sb qb were his teammates. all last year he was ripped. he was never considered good. losman was supposed to be the future, and now he has none

he was good enough to get to the bowl with his team mates whatever i stated my point go fu@# a duck

ok. basically ill say it again. we all knew grossman sucked. hes not a bust. losman was supposed to be good this year. as for the guys in the comments. leftwich wasnt even the starter. phillip rivers is also a good pick, but a lot of his succes last year was due to LT. losman showed great qb promise. but now hes just a bum

The only person off the top of my head that could compete with JP is McNair.

dude rex was a bust LAST year

January 4, 2008  08:30 PM ET

Palmer was a considered a bust this year fantasy wise because everyone had lofty expectations from him.

January 4, 2008  08:39 PM ET

What about Phillip Rivers?

January 4, 2008  08:39 PM ET

McNair was a pretty big bust.

January 4, 2008  08:45 PM ET

Vince Young?

January 4, 2008  09:06 PM ET

Give Air McNair a break hes old i wasn't expecting much out of him either and im a HUGE McNair fan. And what about Trent Green he was supposed to be for the Dolphins this year what McNair was for the Ravens last year.

January 4, 2008  09:19 PM ET

drew hensen-can't even throw a ball from third to first.......

January 4, 2008  09:33 PM ET

sadly enough grossman will be back next year

January 4, 2008  09:40 PM ET

Alex Smith.

January 4, 2008  09:46 PM ET

losman was a pretty big bust.... mcnair was not a bust, he got busted up... grossman sucks camel **** but we all new that last year.... mike vick wasnt a bust but he sure as shizzle got busted.... trent green is... uh... trent green... leftwich anyone?

January 4, 2008  10:02 PM ET

i'll go with dzNutz on this 1

January 4, 2008  10:03 PM ET

in order: 1) Losman 2) Green 3) Grossman 4)McNair
and to basketball jesus, how could Vince Young be the biggest bust? He lead his team to the playoffs. maybe he isn't playing as good as he looked like in the pro bowl with Texas, but he isn't the BIGGEST bust

January 4, 2008  10:16 PM ET

vince young didnt LEAD nobody nowhere... the titans carried him to the playoffs

January 4, 2008  10:21 PM ET

well actually come to think of it the Browns and Tony Dungy carried the Titans who carried Vince Young to the playoffs

grossman may never start for another team again and he went to the SB...big bust

January 4, 2008  10:56 PM ET

I don't consider either of them a bust. I never believed in Losman and Grossman was already bad enough. No vote for either of you from me. Sorry.

J-Loss, Rivers, McNair, Alex Smith all busts. I put Griese as the bigger bust over Rex though, Griese was supposed to save the team and he was as bad if not worse than Rex. At least everyone knew what they were getting into with Rex (great arm, no brain).
