01:47 PM ET 08.22 | It has long been rumored that Austin Dillon would be making the jump to NASCAR's Sprint Cup for the 2014 season and one of his top sponsors has leaked information that it will definitely be happening. Of course, nothing has been officially announced by NASCAR or Richard Childress Racing, but the move is widely expected to take place. "AdvoCare served as the sponsor on the No. 3 car of Austin Dillon the past two seasons. With Dillon making the move to full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing in 2014, the organization began the process of diligently seeking out its best option moving forward," the company said in a statement. If Dillon does make the move to the Sprint Cup, he is expected to take over for Kevin Harwick, who is leaving Stewart-Haas Racing to join forces with Paul Menard and Jeff Burton.

10:53 AM ET 08.18 | A deal is in the works that would offer Brian Vickers more seat time in the No. 55 Aaron's Toyota -- and allow Mark Martin to pursue the opportunity to drive the No. 14 for the injured Tony Stewart. On Saturday, multiple sources told FOX Sports that Toyota offered Martin its blessing in order to enable Vickers -- who was named the full-time driver of the No. 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Camry on Tuesday -- additional races to gel with the team. Vickers is currently racing for the Nationwide Series championship with Joe Gibbs Racing. He is fifth in the NNS point standings.

05:30 PM ET 08.10 | After driver Tony Stewart suffered a broken leg earlier this week, the brass at Stewart-Haas racing announced that they'll be tapping multiple drivers to fill in for Stewart in the No. 14 car. Max Papis was the first driver selected for the job, but reports on Saturday indicate that Austin Dillon, who is expected to become a full-time Cup competitor in 2014, may be next in line. Dillon, who recently won the Mudsummer Classic at Stewart's Eldora Speedway, didn't reveal much when asked about if he'd been approached by Stewart-Haas, but he did indicate that he'd like the opportunity to be a stand-in for Stewart.
