08:09 AM ET 06.18 | The UFC's return to Boston could be in serious jeopardy, after a report surfaced regarding an effort from a state politician to keep foreign-born fighters without social security numbers from participating in the event. When you consider that the fight card's top three fights all feature foreign born fighters -- Shogun Rua, Alistair Overeem and Yuri Alcantara -- this is a big problem.

03:05 PM ET 06.17 | Myles "Fury" Jury (12-0) first got caught up with the UFC on "The Ultimate Fighter" season 13, where it was an injury that knocked him out of the competition. Jury then returned on "The Ultimate Fighter: LIVE" where he was eliminated in the first round by Al Iaquinta. Jury was given another chance at the "TUF LIVE Finale: Al Iaquinta vs. Michael Chiesa" when he faced Chris Saunders. Jury disposed of Saunders quickly as he won via submission in the first round. Since then Jury has won two more consecutive fights, including a unanimous decision over Michael Johnson and a KO victory over Ramsey Nijem. Next, Jury will meet another "The Ultimate Fighter" alumni as Mike "The Martian" Ricci (8-3) will be standing across from Jury come Sept. 21. Ricci was featured on "The Ultimate Fighter" season 16 where he earned his way to the finale, but fell short by losing a decision to Colton Smith. Ricci rebounded and earned his first UFC win as he dominated "TUF: Smashes" runner-up Colin Fletcher for three rounds. "Fury" has not shown any signs of slowing down, but Ricci has shown improvement since his stint on TUF 16 and will look to stop Jury in his tracks at UFC 165 in Toronto, Canada at the Air Canada Centre.

07:52 AM ET 06.17 | A knee injury forced Anthony Pettis out of his UFC featherweight title shot against Jose Aldo, but Pettis plans to be healthy and ready to fight by August. Since he's missed out on one title shot, Pettis is hoping that the UFC will do him a favor and give him the shot at the lightweight title that he has waited so long for. The problem is, TJ Grant is curently set to face lightweight champ Benson Henderson. In order for Pettis to get his title shot in his hometown, the UFC would have to pull the rug out from Grant. It wouldn't be fair to Grant to have the title shot taken away from him after working so hard to climb the ladder, but if there is one fighter that the UFC could get away with subbing in Grant's place without as much outrage, Pettis would be that guy.
