04:18 PM ET 05.21 | K.J. Noons can explain why he's lost four of his past five fights, and believes it's not as bad as the numbers indicate. "I'm not making excuses for my losses, but the last five fights, the first loss was to Nick Diaz, which was a very close fight in a weight division which I don't even fight in," Noons said. "I did that for the organization because they asked me to. I did lose to [Jorge] Masvidal, so we can say that's a loss. Came back and won a fight after that, and then I fought Josh [Thomson] and he just laid on me like a human blanket. I kind of look at that like he was pretty scared to fight. I guess it wasn't even really a fight, and then last fight, the judges gave it to [Couture]. Like I said, I'm not trying to make a lot of excuses, but it's just kind of where the cards fell."

04:12 PM ET 05.21 | Matt Riddle is headed to Bellator after the organization bought out his contract from Legacy Fighting Championship. The former UFC fighter will compete in the Season 9 welterweight tournament. "Matt's got all the tools to be a force in our welterweight division," Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney stated. "When I saw Matt get released from the UFC coming off four straight wins including his dominant win over Mills in February, we took notice. We both realize that Matt will have a target on his back for his past indiscretions. But having discussed it with him, I'm comfortable that he's in the right place to enter the Bellator cage this fall in what will be the most loaded Bellator welterweight tournament in the promotion's history."

Askren is looking to defend his title for the fourth consecutive time. "I'm really looking forward to getting back into that cage and putting on a show," Askren stated in an official announcement. "I feel like I've continued to mature and get better in every one of my fights, and July 31st should be no different. I don't think Andrey has any ability to stop my wrestling and ground attack, so this will be another successful title defense."

"We are way ahead of where I thought we would be at this point," Cui stated. "The biggest surprise to me is how quickly we're selling out stadiums and that blue-chip companies have come on board as sponsors. I wasn't expecting that for at least another year. We have so much demand for ONE FC shows that it is unbelievable and to keep up with the demand we will be hosting 12 events this year and expanding to 24 in 2014."

03:39 PM ET 05.20 | Cat Zingano has alleged Brian Caraway, the boyfriend of Miesha Tate, elbowed her in the head during the weigh-ins before their fight at the TUF 16 Finale. "Brian smiled back in my face then elbowed me in the head at weigh-ins. I was pissed. I considered him in that same respect.
