03:14 PM ET 01.30 | On Wednesday, the pro wrestling world was rocked when they learned that superstar CM Punk had decided to walk away from the WWE. Just a few days prior to walking out and leaving the promotion, Punk had discussed the possibility with Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com. During that interview, CM Punk also discussed a potential career in mixed martial arts and the UFC, which had led to plenty of discussion about how he could succeed in a real fight. What many may not know is that Punk has spent years training with Rener Gracie of the legendary Gracie Jiu Jitsu family, and he also has extensive training in stand up - reportedly muay thai is his striking specialty. Sure, there is the age factor - CM Punk turned 35 years old last October - but Gracie believes that the pro wrestler has plenty of potential to succeed in the sport of MMA.

03:12 PM ET 01.30 | Since leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has gone on a tear in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Johnson has had fights at both weight classes, but his focus has been at 205 pounds and his last outing was one of the most impressive. On Jan. 18, Johnson scored a devastating first-round knockout over Mike Kyle, in the final fight of his contract with World Series of Fighting. Now that Johnson is a free agent, many had been wondering whether or not the UFC would give him another look and president Dana White said today during a media event for UFC 169 that the organization was interested.

03:07 PM ET 01.30 | The UFC is reportedly targeting a return to Abu Dhabi, and they will play to have a "big" bout on the card. According to a report from UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 2 on Wednesday night, the UFC is planning a heavyweight bout between mixed martial arts legend Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro Nogueira and Roy Nelson. Yes, that would give us "Big Nog" vs. "Big Country." If the UFC does return to Abu Dhabi, it will be their first time hosting a show in the United Arab Emirates capital since April of 2010, when Anderson Silva and Demian Maia headlined UFC 112, which turned out to be a stinker.
