07:27 AM ET 06.17 | Urban Meyer is no stranger to the spread offense, which has brought him to two national championships and great success throughout. But in his 11 seasons as a head coach, Meyer has learned that his team's dance moves are never in vogue for long. ... So adjustments have been made to tighten things up a little. There could be times this season when the Buckeyes could look like they are running an anti-spread. Signs of it were spotted in the spring, when the Buckeyes, under the direction of second-year offensive coordinator Tom Herman, occasionally worked out of a diamond formation. It's a modern version of the full-house backfield, with quarterback Braxton Miller having a running back on either side of him and behind him.

07:25 AM ET 06.17 | Virginia Tech commit Andrew Ford managed to keep himself largely off the radar before committing to the Hokies. And that's not easy for a four-star recruit -- particularly a quarterback. But that's the way Ford, one of the top-15 rated pro-style prospects in the country, wanted it. ... Ford chose the Hokies over Virginia and Pitt. Most national recruiting sites show Ford with offers from only Temple and UMass. But he had plenty of other offers. The 6-3, 195-pound Ford chose not to make them public. "That's just the way I wanted to do it," said Ford, who threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior. "I was blessed by the opportunities that came my way. I'm very happy with the one I chose."

07:23 AM ET 06.17 | In the eyes of New Orleans power forward Craig Victor, one college program shines like no other. "You know how the Cowboys are America's football team?" he said Friday at the NBPA Top 100 camp. "I would say Kentucky is America's team for all high school players. That's the dream to play at Kentucky." ... Could the dream of playing at Kentucky become a reality for Victor, the nation's No. 19 prospect by Scout.com? He said Kentucky, Ohio State, LSU, Arizona, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Florida are recruiting him the hardest. UK is the only one of those that has not made an offer, but Victor is willing to wait to see if one materializes. UK coach John Calipari has told Victor he plans to evaluate him in July in tournaments in Indianapolis and Las Vegas.
