04:55 PM ET 05.20 | Missouri Tigers head coach Frank Haith added a high-impact transfer from the Baylor Bears today, as Mizzou Rivals beat writer Gabe DeArmond reported earlier that the former four-star small forward in the 2011 class is headed to Missouri and the SEC. He and Quincy Miller headlined a big, top 25 recruiting class for Baylor and head coach Scott Drew, but now the former top 20 SF prospect is leaving after 66 games and two seasons with the Bears. Bello was touted coming out of high school as an excellent scorer from High Point, North Carolina, and he chose Baylor over offers from major programs like Florida State and Louisville.

06:38 PM ET 05.20 | Following a successful year that saw the Louisville Cardinals win the Sugar Bowl, there is plenty of hype surrounding the program heading into 2013, and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater could end up being a serious contender for the Heisman Trophy. But Bridgewater doesn't want to focus on that individual award -- he told the school that he doesn't want it to run a Heisman campaign on his behalf and that he prefers instead to focus on leading his team. Bridgewater threw for 3,718 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2012.

Rights issues could delay ACC network

04:47 PM ET 05.20 | The ACC has for some time been talking with ESPN about a potential television network for the conference, but there may be a roadblock in the form of rights issues that will delay progress. ESPN would need all of the ACC's syndicated rights in order to found a network, but those are controlled by both Fox Sports Net and Raycom through 2027. The ACC could buy back those rights in order to get things moving, but it appears ESPN is in no hurry to get an ACC network up and running. A channel launch probably would not come until at least 2016, according to industry sources.

07:17 AM ET 05.20 | If it were up to Todd Monken, Wes Lunt would have stayed put. And that was well before Friday's news that Monken's new school is one of many -- along with all schools from the Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and Central Michigan -- that Oklahoma State is blocking as potential destinations for the for the former Cowboys quarterback. Instead, Monken said, he tried to steer Lunt back to Stillwater once learning of his decision to leave the Cowboys. ... Monken said he hasn't talked to Lunt, and despite all the natural connecting of dots linking the two, didn't foresee a good match. Still, according to sources, Lunt asked for a release to five schools: Southern Miss, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Louisville.

07:17 AM ET 05.20 | Through it all, Rick Barnes remains an optimist. [The] longtime Texas basketball coach vehemently promises his 15-year program is not falling into disarray as it might appear from the outside. For everyone else, seeing will be believing. There's evidence to suggest Barnes is losing his grip on his program. However, he vows that perception is mistaken, despite his first losing record at Texas, six absences from the Sweet 16 in the past seven seasons and major defections by everybody but the ballboy. To be honest, I'm not sure if Barnes is properly defiant or just delusional. But that doesn't stop him from saying, "With the guys coming in, I think we're pretty good."
