04:41 PM ET 05.19 | The Arizona Cardinals have struggled to throw the ball since Kurt Warner retired, despite the presence of one of the best wide receivers in the NFL in Larry Fitzgerald. Of those years, though, Fitzgerald thinks that 2012 was the most frustrating. He caught 71 receptions for 798 yards and four touchdowns, all either near or setting career lows. However, the team will have a new offense under head coach Bruce Arians, and Fitzgerald will have a new quarterback in Carson Palmer, so better times could be ahead.

04:31 PM ET 05.19 | The Denver Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning have agreed to a modified version of his contract, which would give the Broncos more insurance coverage in case Manning is injured in 2014. The reworked deal does not change Manning's financial or salary cap numbers. Manning injured his neck in 2011, causing him to miss his final season with the Indianapolis Colts. Manning didn't show any ill effects during his first season with the Broncos in 2012, but the Broncos appear to be playing it safe.

EJ Manuel sinking teeth into Bills offense

04:15 PM ET 05.19 | There were a lot of questions surrounding EJ Manuel heading into the draft about whether he was capable of running an NFL offense. He's putting some of those concerns to bed, though, as he quickly got to work learning the Buffalo Bills' scheme, and he says he loves it. "The funny thing is it's easier to learn than the offense I had at Florida State," he told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "It's a true West Coast-type progression offense. That's really what I wanted when I was coming through the pre-draft process. I wanted something that I could just go in and say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, check it down and run it. That's it, it's that simple. I love it." If he can show his handle on the offense in training camp, Manuel has a chance to win the starting job as a rookie.

03:10 PM ET 05.19 | Roy Helu Jr. could be the victim of the crowded running back competition at Washington Redskins camp this offseason. Helu Jr. was a fourth round pick of the Redskins back in 2011, but the backfield has become increasingly more talented with each year he has been there. In fact, with the emergence of Alfred Morris last season, Helu and the rest of the team's running backs will be battling to keep their roster spots.
