10:30 AM ET 05.25 | After the fax machine fiasco that led to his release by the Denver Broncos, pass rushing specialist Elvis Dumervil landed with the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore was hit hard by departures following their Super Bowl run, so they were very excited about adding a player of Dumervil's caliber to play opposite Terrell Suggs. With OTAs officially underway and the Ravens coaching staff getting a chance to see how Dumervil fits in their system, they have come away impressed. According to Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh, Dumervil is emerging as a leader and he has been active in every session.

02:28 PM ET 05.25 | Despite only being on the team for a few months and only having taken part in a few OTA practices thus far, new Baltimore Ravens defensive end/linebacker Elvis Dumervil is establishing himself as a leader on the team. Head coach John Harbaugh has praised Dumervil for being dependable and someone he always admired when he played for the Denver Broncos. Now that Dumervil is on the Ravens, Harbaugh appreciated what Dumervil brings to the table even more, according to the Carroll County Times. "It seems like Elvis has made the transition," Harbaugh said after the Ravens' OTA practice Wednesday. "He has been here every day. He hasn't missed one thing since he's been here. I feel like he's emerging as a leader for our football team. He has had no problem learning the defense." The defensive standout couldn't be happier with his current situation. "I've come to a first-class organization [from] the owner, down," Dumervil said. "Head coach, [general manager and executive vice president] Ozzie [Newsome] and those guys really demonstrate the way they want things to be done."

02:41 PM ET 05.25 | The New Orleans Saints signed safety Roman Harper to a reworked contract extension through 2015, according to reports from NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport and Larry Holder of The Times-Picayune on Friday. Harper was slated to make $5.25 million in 2013. His extension with the Saints gives him $4 million in guaranteed dollars for the upcoming season. By adding another season (2015) to Harper's contract, Rapoport notes that New Orleans likely gave themselves a bit of salary cap relief. Their $145.5 million going towards the 2014 cap is among the highest amount in the league right now.

02:11 PM ET 05.25 | Former Denver Broncos offensive linemen Tom Nalen admitted to trying to injure defensive lineman Igor Olshansky in a game against the San Diego Chargers in 2006, according to Yahoo! Sports. Nalen is a player who didn't say much throughout his NFL career aside from the occasional "no comment," but now that he's retired, all bets are off. Nalen was being introduced as the next member of the Bronco's Ring of Fame, and among the topics covered over his 30 minutes or so of talking, Nalen said that he intentionally tried to injure Olshansky during a game against the Chargers. "I wanted to blow his knee out on that play because of what happened the play before," Nalen said, "But that, you know, is that dirty? I don't know." Nalen prefaced that statement by saying he didn't consider himself a dirty player. The play he's referencing came when the Broncos were lining up to spike the ball and stop the clock near the end of the game. Nalen dove into Olshanksky's knee instead of simply standing up, which the rest of the players did. Olshansky then threw punches at Nalen and was ejected from the game. Nalen was fined $25,000 for the cheap shot and Olshanksy was fined $10,000 for his retaliation when it was all said and done. Nalen justified his actions by suggesting that Olshansky grabbed his facemask on the previous play.

02:04 PM ET 05.25 | Seattle Seahawks tight end Anthony McCoy tore his Achilles tendon and will miss at least six months, according to USA Today. The injury occurred during organized team activities, and surgery was already performed on the tear. The Seahawks used a lot of two-tight end sets last season, earning McCoy plenty of playing time alongside Zach Miller. McCoy played in all 18 games and had 18 catches for 291 yards and three touchdowns. He played in all of the Seahawks' games in 2011 as well. If McCoy does miss six months, he will not return until November. That makes him a likely candidate for the physically-unable-to-perform list, which would make him ineligible to play for the first 12 weeks of the season, but would open up a spot on the Seattle roster. The Seahawks drafted Like Willson to be the team's third tight end, but he will have to take on a bigger role from Week 1 with McCoy out.
