10:27 AM ET 05.19 | For the sixth time since 2011, a player for the Seattle Seahawks violated the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. The latest Seattle player to run afoul of the league's drug policy is second-year pro Bruce Irvin. Other Seahawks who tested positive: Cornerback Brandon Browner, who was suspended for the final four games of the 2012 regular season after reportedly testing positive for Adderall. Safety Winston Guy, who was suspended by the league for four games in 2012. Guy did not appeal the suspension. Guy's agent, Greg Linton, said his client tested positive for an over-the-counter substance that's on the NFL's lengthy list of banned substances. Offensive lineman John Moffitt was suspended for four games without pay in December, 2011. According to Moffitt's agent, Michael George, his client was suspended for taking a drug used to treat hyperactivity, and that Moffitt did not notify the league he was taking the drug. Offensive lineman Allen Barbre was suspended for the first four games of the 2012 season. The Seahawks released Barbre that October after he finished serving his suspension. Cornerback Richard Sherman was suspended for four games in 2012 for reportedly taking Adderall, but the decision was reversed when Sherman won his appeal on grounds that the sample was contaminated because of a leaky cup.

09:20 AM ET 05.19 | The use of GPS systems and heart rate monitors during practice to monitor biomechanics and recovery continues to grow in the NFL. Among the latest teams to join the trend are the Eagles and Jaguars. New Eagles coach Chip Kelly is very much into using technology and thinking outside of the box. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley was familiar with GPS monitoring because the Seahawks did it when he was in Seattle. The system is particularly helpful in terms of monitoring recovery of athletes and helping to gauge players who are rehabbing.

09:14 AM ET 05.19 | Something about Mike Glennon has interested Greg Schiano for a long time. When Schiano was the head coach of Rutgers in 2007, he visited Glennon at Westfield High School in Fairfax County, Va., to recruit him Glennon told Schiano his goal was to play in the ACC, not in the Big East. "I was disappointed because I thought he was the best one on the East coast that year," Schiano said. Fast forward to the 2013 draft. Schiano, now the head coach of the Bucs, went quarterback shopping again. And he thought Glennon was more than the best quarterback on the East coast this time. He said he thought Glennon was the best quarterback in the draft. No one expects Glennon to beat out Josh Freeman this year. But it???s not out of the question. Schiano said he believes Glennon "can play quickly" if he is needed. "But our situation will be only if he's needed," he said. "Or if he wins the job. Look, I'm not against that. We have a starting quarterback. It's not like we're looking to find a starter. But competition is competition. Mike Glennon is a fierce competitor. I knew that when he was coming out of high school. Now being able to work with him a little, you can see it on the practice field." Glennon will get a chance. Maybe this year. Maybe next, after Freeman's contract expires. Maybe farther on down the line.

08:03 AM ET 05.18 | New England Patriots star tight end and party goer Rob Gronkowski is set to undergo a fourth arm surgery early next week to clear out an infection. The timetable for Gronkowski's return could keep him out of the preseason and put his status from the Patriots' season-opener in jeopardy, but that will not stop the ultimate bro from going out with a bang -- Vegas-style. Jumpseat.me is giving fans an opportunity to ride in a private jet with Gronk and teammate Julian Edelman for his last-minute party before the next surgery. Gronk is such an avid party guy that he wants to make sure there are plenty of people involved. Up to four people will win the trip and that means we have a much greater chance of cell phone photos of Gronk running the bar or pounding shots shirtless will surface on the Internet.

07:59 PM ET 05.18 | Brandon Weeden admitted Friday he had no advance knowledge that the Browns were signing quarterback Brian Hoyer, but he's not worried about how it will impact the quarterback competition. "I was surprised, but that's the nature of the beast," Weeden said Friday at the Cleveland Browns Foundation charity golf outing at Westwood Country Club. "It's part of this business and if you start worrying about it, that's too much to worry about. That's my mentality going forward."
