06:42 PM ET 05.20 | Tim Graham of The Buffalo News reported Monday that Williams said the pills were prescribed and handed out by the Bills. Williams also denied having suicidal thoughts. Bills coach Doug Marrone, unaware of Williams' comments, told reporters Monday that he had spoken with the player, but he said, "The organization will not comment on personal issues." He added, "My conversations with him are private," according to the team's official website. Marrone -- who wasn't with the Bills last season -- confirmed that team officials are looking into Williams' situation. Williams underwent wrist surgery in October after spending much of the early season in pain. In that light, it wouldn't stand out as unusual for the team to prescribe him painkillers.

06:37 PM ET 05.20 | The votes for Super Bowl L and LI will be awarded at the league meeting in Boston, and San Francisco, Miami and Houston are the front runners. With the South Florida bid experiencing stadium fundings issues, and the San Francisco bid gaining momentum with its new stadium on the horizon, league sources would be shocked if the bid does not go to the 49ers, reports CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Similarly, Houston is expected to land Super Bowl LI; the Texans are competing with the loser of the Super Bowl L vote for the ensuing Super Bowl.

06:28 PM ET 05.20 | The Miami Dolphins begin their first session of OTAs on Tuesday, but they may have to do so without Reshad Jones. The safety is not planning to report for workouts unless the team begins negotiations for a new contract, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. The 25-year-old Jones started 16 games last season and produced career-highs in nearly every major category. He finished the season with 94 total tackles, nine pass deflections and four interceptions. Jones is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but would apparently prefer an extension over hitting the free agent market.
