06:17 PM ET 05.20 | In the latest installment of her series documenting Revis' recovery process from reconstructive knee surgery, NFL Network's Andrea Kremer asked Revis if he expects to be the same player when he debuts as the centerpiece of Greg Schiano's defense. "The first time I step out there, I'll be fine," Revis said during a segment that will air Monday on "NFL Total Access." Schiano was asked if he's preparing under the impression he'll have Revis at the height of his powers. "That's how we're planning," Schiano told Kremer. "I mean, we have faith that he's gonna recover. And look, if it isn't exactly that way right away, then we'll adapt; 85- or 90 percent of Darrelle Revis is still better than most 100 percent other corners, right?"

Chad Johnson turns himself in, out on bail

06:14 PM ET 05.20 | NFL.com confirmed last Thursday that a warrant was issued for the arrest of former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson after he allegedly violated several terms of his probation. On Monday, Johnson turned himself in. The Broward Sheriff's office told NFL.com that Johnson turned himself in at the courthouse Monday. Court documents confirm that Johnson indeed was arrested Johnson then was booked into a Broward County jail and later released after posting bail, which had been set at $1,000. The Los Angeles Times reported Johnson's next hearing is set for June 3.

Washington pleads not guilty to assault

06:09 PM ET 05.20 | PHOENIX (AP) Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, who authorities have said is the mother of his baby daughter. A Maricopa County Superior Court spokesman says Washington entered the plea Monday. Washington is charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespass. He has been free since he posted $2,400 bond after being arrested May 3.

NFL plans to move draft to May

06:06 PM ET 05.20 | The NFL and NFL Players Association are on the verge of pushing back the draft to May and moving up the start of the league year to before the Indianapolis scouting combine, according to league and union sources. The change of the draft to May would be effective in 2014, according to a source. As for the draft, the NFLPA is close to signing off on allowing the NFL to move the draft to May from April for at least the next three years, according to sources. Under the current collective bargaining agreement, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell can set the date of the draft without the NFLPA's approval, although he would prefer to have the union's blessing to maintain league harmony.
