02:57 PM ET 06.19 | The San Jose Sharks have locked up Logan Couture for the next six seasons. Couture was scheduled to become a free agent after 2013-14, when he is due $3 million, but the Sharks made sure he would be around longer than that by giving him a five-year, $30 million deal that will keep him in San Jose through 2019. The deal will become official on July 5, when players can sign contract, but the two sides have agreed to the contract. With Couture in the fold, the Sharks now have to turn their attention to Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, Joe Pavelski and Dan Boyle, all of whom can be free agents next summer.

02:48 PM ET 06.19 | The Anaheim Ducks are shopping Bobby Ryan once again and, again, the Philadelphia Flyers are interested. Anaheim has tried to trade Ryan before, and have drawn the ire of their winger for doing so, and they are doing so ahead of the NHL Draft. The Flyers have tried to acquire Ryan each time the Ducks have made him available with the hope that he could give them the dynamic, physical, fast winger that they need, but each time they have fallen short. The Flyers could offer Braydon Coburn and the 11th overall pick in the draft for Ryan with the hope that this time they can finally pry him from Anaheim.

02:40 PM ET 06.19 | The Los Angeles Kings have agree to a six-year, $25 million contract with Slava Voynov. The 23-year-old defenseman had an outstanding 2013 season with 25 points in all 48 games for the Kings, but he was even better in the playoffs, leading the team in goals and points. The deal appears to be a bargain for the Kings after it was speculated that Voynov would get $5 million per season, but the concern in LA is that his contract runs out the same year as Drew Doughty, potentially leaving the Kings with a summer of scrambling to re-sign their two best defensemen in 2019.

02:34 PM ET 06.19 | The potential Phoenix Coyotes buyers met with the Glendale city council in a private session on Tuesday night as the two sides continued to work on a deal for Jobing.com Arena that would keep the team in Arizona. Renaissance Sports and Entertainment have a deal to buy the Coyotes from the NHL, but the sale is dependent on an arena deal that is still a work in progress. The next voting meeting of the city council is not until July 25 and if Renaissance cannot agree to a deal with Glendale, the sale will fall through. The team would then likely move to Seattle, where the NHL has an ownership group and a temporary venue in Key Area waiting for the team if things are not resolved in Arizona.
