07:22 AM ET 05.20 | Captain Ryan Callahan said after Sunday's loss that if the Rangers play the way they did in the first two periods against the Bruins, they'll be OK -- but that isn't the only if heading back to New York. Also, there has to be a little concern over Henrik Lundqvist. At 15:08 of the third period, he leapt forward to cover the puck after a Daniel Paille deflection try. Lundqvist remained on the ice for a bit and was in obvious discomfort while rotating his left arm, something he continued after the stoppage. ... [It] was unclear exactly how Lundqvist got hurt. "It's my shoulder, we'll see," said Lundqvist, who also rubbed his shoulder area a couple of times while speaking to the media. "We'll take a look at it."

07:21 AM ET 05.20 | When Joe Sakic originally painted a picture of the Avs next head coach, Patrick Roy's resume didn't quite fit the bill -- but things have changed. [Roy] is a strong candidate for the Avalanche head coaching job, an NHL source confirmed Sunday. The former Avalanche goaltender and NHL Hall of Famer is considered a rising star in the coaching ranks and was offered Colorado's head coaching job in 2009 before turning it down. With the job open again, and with fewer personal ties to his job with the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Roy could have renewed interest in coming back to Denver. ... [Sakic] would not comment when asked whether he has met with Roy recently to discuss the coaching job.

07:20 AM ET 05.20 | As the series shifted to San Jose for Game 3, the Sharks held home ice and now trail only 2-1 after a Game 3 OT win -- and perhaps momentum has something to do with the lineup. Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll is unlikely to return during the second-round series against [San Jose], TSN reported Sunday. According to twitter reports from TSN's Darren Dreger, the primary injury Stoll sustained from the hit he took from the Sharks' Raffi Torres was to his head, and a secondary injury was to his shoulder. Torres was suspended for the remainder of the series.

07:19 AM ET 05.20 | According to the box score, Colin Greening had a great night Sunday and into Monday morning, but it wasn't without some pain. Greening needed six stitches to close a gash on his left cheek after taking a wayward stick to the face early in the game. The euphoria of his goal was still settling in even as the Senators' medical staff were picking tiny bits of [fiberglass] out of his face. "You get a lot of adrenaline going through your body, but they were just small pieces," Greening said. "Like I said, the big pieces were all taken out." Greening scored 7:39 into double overtime to salvage a game for the Senators that looked to be going the other way with just seconds left on the clock in the third period.

07:18 AM ET 05.20 | When asked about why speedy winger Carl Hagelin hasn't seen more time on the Rangers' disappointing power play this postseason, John Tortorella was direct. "Because he stinks on the power play," Tortorella said Saturday. "I don't know why. I wish I could play him more on the power play but every time I put him on, he stinks." ... [Even] with his improved production (plus-5 overall), and the Rangers' power play at an unsightly 2-31 in the playoffs, Hagelin has been used sparingly on the man advantage, with a total of 1:44 of ice time in eight games. "He's a jitterbug and he screws it up," Tortorella said. "But the power play stinks. It's true. That's why he may get an opportunity."
