Georgia releases recruit
Daniel Miller, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound center from Loganville Christian Academy, on Tuesday got the release he sought from the letter of intent he signed with Georgia last fall. That is the question now: What path will Miller, 17, choose? When Miller signed with Georgia in November, Dennis Felton was the Bulldogs coach, and the Dogs won a battle with Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Minnesota and Stanford. He now is free to sign with any of them, or somebody else, without having to sit out a season.

What's he doing signing a letter of intent at 17 or younger anyway? Keep the options open son...coaches change, girlfriends don't always get accepted at the same school, two years can be a lifetime in terms of the ups and downs of a given program.

Basketball has two signing periods, so, in this case, he signs a letter of intent with Team A in the fall, Team A shitcans their coach mid-season, he asks for his release. Trappings of an early signing period.
