Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said Henrik Zetterberg missed practiced Monday with the flu. Kris Draper took Zetterberg's place, centering a line with Dan Cleary and Johan Franzen. Draper said he's waiting for the playoff dates for the second round to be announced. He plans to see a doctor the day before Game 1 in hopes of being cleared to play. Draper didn't play in the first round sweep of the Columbus Blue Jackets because of an undisclosed upper body injury.

He'll be well enough to play in the second round.

Hope it is not the SWINE flu.

But seriously, he will be just fine come the second round. If anything he may have to miss the first game of the second round.

With the flu you get a fever, so on the ice is the perfect place to be. Right?

I am interested to see when the schedule starts. The Western conference is decided, so we should find out at any time. The Ducks and Sharks just punched each other a bunch in the face, so let's not give them any rest. Maybe the Ducks will think they can get their bodies rested and foolishly think the Wings aren't that physical. That certainly caught Columbus off guard.

Zetterberg may miss one game tops, this really is a non issue.

People like to talk about how ugly Ovie and Geno are, but Draper bears a striking resemblence to the missing link.

Zetterberg looks pretty spiffy in his uniform...don't you think?

Why yes he does. That's probably what helped him score his hot girlfriend. I know if it were me I'd wear that uniform on the first date.

As for Drapes, you can thank his face on a Claude readjustment and a puck in the mouth last year. If you want to define NHL playoff sacrifice, you can just look at Draper's face.

At least his teeth aren't the result of bad dentistry.

I had a good look at my man Datsyuk's grille the other day and it's pretty scary too.

I hope Pronger doesnt cross check Zetterberg in the back. Seeing as Zetterberg has a wonky back and all.

Ask Prongs what happened the last time he tried to hit a Red Wing leader from behind in the play-offs...I'm sure he'll look down at his knee in shame...
