Alex Tyus staying at Florida
Remember that whole story about University of Florida basketball player Alex Tyus transferring because he was unhappy with his role on his team? Well, you can forget about it, apparently. According to Tyus' Facebook page, the 6-8 forward is now returning to Gainesville for his junior season. Here's what Tyus' Facebook page said today: (Edited out of respect for the English language.) "Alex Tyus all over St. Louis right now!!! But yeah, man, what' s all the negativity about? I'll be back in Gainesville at the end of June. Relax, I'm going nowhere!!!" Tyus' bio was removed from UF's website after he initially decided to transfer, but now his bio is back up. All UF coach Billy Donovan has to do now is convince point guard Nick Calathes to stick around for another year and the Gators' should be back in business.

Except when they play Tennessee, of course.

Heck, if they'd just split with TN, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

So what if they slip against Tennessee....we got 2 national championships in the past 4 years and how many does Tennessee have in the last 40? It's great when your program is measured by regular season success and post season mediocrity....
