Southern schools chasing West Charlotte QB
Butler High quarterback Christian LeMay is becoming a national college football prospect. LeMay, who will be a junior in the fall, has nevertheless been grabbing recruiters' attention and already has numerous scholarship offers. He added more luster to his resume Sunday with his performance at the Scout.com prep combine at West Charlotte High. That capped a remarkable weekend; Saturday he performed well in an Elite 11 Quarterback camp in Athens, Ga. LeMay, who is 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, impressed again Sunday. He showed excellent athleticism and threw the ball well in one-on-one drills. LeMay has offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, among others.

Hopefully the Vols will land a couple of really good QBs on signing day next year. "Early playing time" will probably be a good attraction for UT's possible recruits.

The headline is wrong! He is a Butler QB. West Charlotte is a different High school. West Charlotte is naturally in west Charlotte, but Butler and LeMay are in south east Charlotte
