Briggs: I won't miss Bears season

The Pro Bowl linebacker, who sustained a minor cut on his right palm while shaving, returned to voluntary workouts Tuesday without limitation. "I'm definitely not going to miss the season," Briggs said with sarcasm. "I'm not the first person to cut themselves with a grooming mechanism." The minor injury was revealed after the Sun-Times published a photo of the player signing autographs in Algonquin last weekend. Briggs, who is left-handed, had bandages around his right hand in the photo.
