Mangini responds to Leach's rant

Browns coach Eric Mangini refuted Texas Tech coach Mike Leach's charges that Mangini leaked the reports of receiver Michael Crabtree acting like a diva during his visit to Cleveland and that they had all but taken him off their draft board. "I can tell you I had a good visit with Michael,'' Mangini said Friday during rookie camp. "I'm really happy he got drafted where he got drafted and he'll have a great career. And I said that after his visit. Nothing's changed. Nothing changed from that point. Nothing will change two or three months from now.'' Leach went off on Mangini after Crabtree slipped to the 49ers at No. 10 overall. "Michael Crabtree has been more successful as a receiver than that guy has a coach at this point," Leach told the Sacramento Bee. "Part of the reason is he's (Crabtree) too shy to be like that." Leach went on to question Mangini's draft, saying, "Let's see how all those non-divas do up in Cleveland this year.''

The only way to settle this is on the field. Texas Tech vs. the Cleveland Browns. Diva vs. Shiva.

It's kind of hard to believe that the Browns will go anywhere with Mangini at the helm...

He did blow the whistle on SpyGate. His word is good. Just don't trust him with any secrets.

What was his involvement? I wouldn't trust him with a bag of garbage. He turned against the org that gave him to opportunity to be a HC. That's called a turncoat where I live.

What the hell is Leach ranting about? Where did he think the boy was going to be picked? And what is the difference to the former coach? Did he get a share of the winnings?
