Florida offensive lineman Ronnie Wilson has been suspended for the 2007 season and running back Brandon James is suspended for Florida's opener because of separate off-the-field incidents,

Woo boy, guns and drugs. I laughed when I heard that some UF players got caught buying less than an oz. from a undercover cop.

If you're young and successful, trouble finds you. SoCal players found that out last offseason.

in any part of life the only way to get people to pay attention is by making their mistakes a tough pill to swallow.....keep up the good work urban...i am a gator fan and not only would bobby look the other way at this point in his career, but ole coach steve wouldn't have been to concerned either.....now if we can only get those criminals from miami to straighten up!!!!! way to go urban!!!

They must not have been very important players if Meyer was willing to suspend them. He would have been singing a different song if Tebow was huffing paint or something.

I thought Urban's M.O. was to suspend all players for a few games either after, before or around the first big SEC test. The weed smokers are usually reinstated before the UT game.

All they are doing is prepping themselves for life in the NFL. It seems that guns and drugs are part of being in the NFL these days. I thought pro athletes (and potential pro's) were supposed to be looked up to!?!?

Looks like the Gators are trying to catch up to my Vols in arrests. At least the police actually make arrests in Knoxville and Gainesville, unlike in Tuscaloosa where they just say "roll tide", spit out some tobacco, and tell them to move along. As a matter a fact do they even have a police department in Tuscaloosa?
