Now that the Saints have extended their Superdome lease through 2025, look for the NFL to award the 2013 Super Bowl to New Orleans. The next three are in Miami, Dallas and Indy. New Orleans is a 2013 finalist with Tampa and Glendale, Ariz. The last time New Orleans hosted was the 2002 game between the Rams and Patriots. The NFL wants to put a post-Katrina Super Bowl in the Superdome as a sign of commitment to the Gulf Coast region.

New Orleans can host all the Super Bowls... as long as we keep the game in America!

or at least the highest bidder.

God bless the Brits!

I say give them one hell of a super travel discount package. Fill the QE II. Let them know how special Mother England is to us. Bring them to Superdome (Sure it's the Louisiana purchase from that Frenchy Napolean, but we can gloss over than). Fill the place with Union Jacks. Serve those delightful English ales.

Everybody wins.

Cool. The last two NOLA Superbowls have been Patriots victorys. It can be there every year as far as New Englanders are concerned.

Last two SBs in New Orleans were XXXI, which Genn Bay whipped New England 35-21 and XXXVI, where the Pats beat the Rams...also Pats shouldn't be crazy about the Superdome. Remember Super Bowl XX?

Sorry Green Bay

In light of the ESPN article on the Commissioner saying the Superbowl isn't going Anglo and that the other thread is just provocation, I want to amend this plan to include one of those delight cruise ship viruses where everyone gets explosive diarrhea and the audio system fails and they listen to Celine Dion for 8 days straight.

Don't mess with the Yanks.

Now, there are some reasons for that.

First of all, FN would love to meet Steeler. Killer party.

Secondly, Thailand is much better place for a young man to relax than England once we get the tranny identification problem resolved.
