The Colts re-signed linebackers Freddy Keiaho and Tyjuan Hagler and safety Matt Giordano, but the chance of Marvin Harrison returning appears remote. "You never say never," Caldwell said, "but there's been no discussions."

I would take him on the GMEN!

Not any more. Last year he had 60 receptions for 636 yards for an average of 10.6 per catch. About 42 yards a game. It would be his 13th season. If that is what he got with Peyton Manning throwing the ball, then I would expect less with any other QB in the NFL throwing to him. Might as well give those reps to Smith. Amani Toomer could produce those kinds of numbers, and that did not keep the job for him..The time has come for Harrison. He could be a mid season pick up for some team that has a shot at the play offs and needs a veteran in a hurry. He is still out there for a reason..The value just is not there for the type of contract he most likely wants.

Awesome player but age caught up to him. Has to be a reason he hasn't landed on a team yet.

He needs to pull a Jerry Rice and go to another team. He still has game left. People thought Rice was done after his knee problems in San Fran too.

Someone will take this guy.......I doubt he's garbage worthy yet...

May 4, 2009  09:39 AM ET

He will end up some where because he still has something left to give a team..... I would like him in Dallas but it won't happen. look for him landing on a team like the Bears, Jets, Panthers or even Saints.

Seems ironic that Harrison and James seem to be hitting the end of the road together

The Jets have no need for him. Don't get me wrong, they need a WR...but the need is a #1. We're already loaded up with #2's and 3's...Harrison isn't a threat to D's anymore. He'd work on a team that needs a steady #2 guy, he's just not dominant anymore.

Teams realize he was a product of Peyton Manning. Would he have put up those numbers if he spent his career with the Browns? I dont think so.

Seems like age has caught up with the photo too. What's with the sepia tones?

Chicago is where WR's go to die... at least that's what Mushin Muhammad says!!!

Age, declining production aside, does anybody think Marvin's legal issues during the past off-season has anything to do with the Colts attitude towards him? They're not exactly the Cowboys, Bengals, or Raiders when it comes to second chances.

Can't believe some team won't pick him up. In 3 or 4 wide-outs set, he would, at the least, be a valuable decoy if not a legit receiver. If a team has a great #1 WR who draws double coverage or takes the free safety in zone coverage, and the offense is playing a 3 (or 4) wide out set, Harrison would likely draw an OLB for coverage and I have to think he could get free for slants and quick curl-ins. The guy has sure hands. It's not like good WRs are growing on trees. Look at MN. Without Berrian, who exactly is the next big threat, other than AP who is not much of a pass-catching threat.
