The phone calls were coming in from friends all over the country, and Terrell Owens had to find some answers. The Cowboys wide receiver was supposedly hosting parties at a New York nightclub called Avalon. Problem was, Owens didn't know anything about it. So, last week he filed a $600,000 lawsuit, contending his name and likeness were used against his permission by the club.

People are always talking or messing with T.O.....The Media are always making crap up about him and makes the fan base sick of him. We all knew he would get his roster bonus. The media would ask Jerry Jones Everyday for 1 month before the bonus was due.........He always said he was paying it! I am so tired of hearing crap about T.O. He will have a Monster year and people will still hate him.

Because he is better than 99% of the WR's in the league. The Reason the Eagles went to the Super Bowl was because McNabb finally had a TRUE No.1 WR....They haven't had one for many years before TO got there and still lacking that. This is why they are not going anytime in the near future.

July 3, 2007  08:12 AM ET

.O. digs his own graves, good for you being a cowboy fan and supporting your team, but his problems are not caused by anyone but himself. He is a petty little whiney kid, as soon as he isn???t getting enough attention pulls some stunt to get it back. He isn???t better than 99% anymore, but he is still a small star. He drops too many balls and Romo going to get him the ball enough, which once again he will make out to be some big issue. He alienates himself from every team he has ever been on, and when things don???t go his way he'll fake a suicide to gain attention... Too bad he failed... God bless Hugh Douglas for finally whipping his **** in that training room in Philly, and if you don???t like it view the tape of the interview his cockroach of an agent and he gave in the driveway, where TO clearly had a ton of makeup on to cover up his face from getting his **** kicked

July 3, 2007  08:24 AM ET

I would actually be pissed too in the Philly Situation. Jevon Kearse signed a 7yr/54mil contract the same offseason as T.O.'s 7yr/49mil.......Jevon Kearse has been on Injured Reserve more for the past 3 years....Of course he wants to be paid more. He only got them to the playoffs both years.

He had 13 drops......He had a torn up Ring Finger that had to have screws in it. He still caught more TD's than anyone else. He Blocks better than any other WR besides Hines Ward.....Runs better after the catch than anyone. He can turn a 2 yd slant into 10 to 13yds everytime.

He had a pulled hamstring last offseason right??? Hines Ward and another top WR had the same thing and didn't practice. Yet the media always asked FAT **** Parcells everyday about it....T.O. then wore a Biking suit...That was funny. They make little things a big deal. He has proven himself again and again. Its funny that you can talk crap about T.O.......But, really would you be man enough to say it to his face or would you ask for an autograph? Besides Hugh douglas out weighs T.O. by 40lbs...........HHHHMMMMM.....You probably weigh 165.....Stop talking junk little one.

July 3, 2007  09:14 AM ET

It sounds like jandssports doesn't like T.O, so why would he ask that loser for an autograph?

July 3, 2007  09:17 AM ET

So the reason the Eagles went to the Super Bowl was TO? Kid, watch the games. IF you did you would've seen TO didn't even play in the postseason until the Super Bowl. Him being on the team didn't get them to the Super Bowl, the playoffs are a win it or go home thing in the NFL.

Funny, you talk junk about Parcells. I'd rather have a guy like Parcells then a punk like TO who is never satisfied by his teammates. Not by Steve Young, not by Jeff Garcia, not by Donovan McNabb, and pretty soon he'll hang out Romo to dry. It's happened EVERY time. Yeah he's a great player, but he'll never win the big one.

July 3, 2007  09:18 AM ET

TO's a schmuck. The stuff he pulled while he was in San Fran was unforgiveable, and he hasn't changed at all since. By the way, he didn't drop balls because of his ring finger, he dropped balls because half the time he was barely paying attention out there. He half-as ses his way through everything, and now that he's aging pretty soon his athleticism won't be able to cover that up anymore.

July 3, 2007  09:19 AM ET

Finally somebody who knows football and can make a decision without media influence. I'm a Panthers fan so T.O. does nothing for my team. It is obvious the media wants to make every story about T.O. a bad one. I totally agree with you America's Legend on the whole "hamstring scandal" last year. It was ridiculous for the media to try and spin it that way. He made no excuses while dropping those passes and actually SHOULD have shut it down and had the surgery DURING the season. But does he get credit for putting the team ahead of himself??? NOPE! He would have gotten paid either way, so you can't say he did it for the money. I challenge anybody to name 5 better ALL AROUND receivers in the league. Plain and simple you can't!

July 3, 2007  09:23 AM ET

Good Looking OUT King!

The point is I am a Cowboys fan....But I love the NFL. When T.O. was tearing up my Cowboys with the Eagles it sucked. But when that man came back about 2 months early with a rod in his broken leg and played like a BEAST against the Pats.....He got all my respect. McNabb didn't even show up in that game. He got paid WAY more than T.O.

The only all around Wrs that even come close are Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Hines Ward, and Reggie Wayne.

July 3, 2007  09:35 AM ET

America's Legend i am with you on this one. TO had a charity function in ATL a couple of years ago, and there was almost no media coverage at all. But anything he does that can be made negative, the media spins it that way. THis guy was the biggest star at the event and he was available for all of the kids there and grown men like my self. Then there were third rate nfl players and actors who did not sign one autograph or take one picture. I like TO. Wish he did not make so many comments, then all the media could bash him on is how well he puts up number on sunday without talking to them.

July 3, 2007  09:38 AM ET

AL-I'm a Giants fan. Trust me, I was hoping the Gints did something to get a hard hitting safety like Landry in the draft. But we've got Kiwanuka moving to LB and that ought to create some great pass rush with Kiwa, Strahan, and Osi on the field all at once. I put Boldin, Johnson(chad), Lee Evans, Holt, and Harrison either at or above Owens. Steve Smith is just a multi threat that is also on that list. Hines Ward for his intangibles and tough play. Hell I love football, nothing like weekends in the fall. Waking up on those crisp mornings and watching football.

July 3, 2007  09:51 AM ET

Super Sport!!!!!! DID YOU SAY LEE EVANS?????? Your credibility is declining by the second. Please explain how Lee Evans can be mentioned in the same breath as T.O. other than the fact that he is in the NFL and plays the same position!

July 3, 2007  09:52 AM ET

Poor, Terrell. The whole world is against him. I think Tony Romo is the real deal, but just wait and see.....T.O. will end up dumping on him the same way he dumped on JEFF GARCIA and MCNABB. What some (Dallas) fans don't understand is this: PHILLY RELEASED HIM BECAUSE HE IS A DESTROYER OF TEAM CHEMISTRY, NOT BECAUSE OF HIS PLAY.

July 3, 2007  10:03 AM ET

Its okay.......I will forgive you on being a Gaints fan....I have been stationed with so many, I can live with it......As long as you are not an Oklahoma fan.

I think all 32 teams were hoping that Landry would fall to them.

I think that Kiwi moving to LB will be good....K. Mitchell is not a upgrade tho. I'm not sure where he will play....MLB/ROLB and Pierce may move back to the Weak side?

You have a good list of Good Wideouts.....But, all around blocking, after the catch, breaking tackles, acceleration, size.....Na.

Lee Evans is fast, good hands, but doesn't block as well, size, or breaking tackles like TO.

Boldin, is the No. 3 guy behind Steve Smith. Boldin does everything well but TO has him in Speed. He will be a GREAT ONE THO! I LOVE TO WATCH BOLDIN. Thats why I hope the Cards get better.

Holt and Harrison are the same. Guys that are fast and quick, don't block that well or break tackles.

Chad Johnson........I love Ocho Cinco. I talk just as much junk as him when I shut down Offenses........Everytime I put my pads on. But he is not better all around. Somethings he does better.

Steve Smith-He is possibly better all around. The edge he has on TO is age.

There is only somethings better than waking up on sunday mornings to watch the games......

1. Getting another chance to play football.
2. Being Deployed and watching Football!
3. Trying to figure out the D@M^ time difference here in England so I can watch the games!

July 3, 2007  10:08 AM ET

Redskin,

He can be a Cancer......He is just like Moss. As long as he is WINNING he is happy!. The only reason he was pissed last year is because when Bledsoe was playing....He would never throw in his direction. If he did, he would throw short or leave him out to dry. Romo is a smart guy. He knows that if he spreads out the ball and gets TO some touches.....It will make him a RICH MAN!

BTW, I really like Jason Campbell. I think he can be the Future. He is Solid and is way more atheletic than given credit for. We will continue to have Great Rivalries..........I was there 2 years ago on Monday night when Moss caught those two bombs in the 4th. I almost CRIED. Instead, I knocked out a Redskin fan who was talking crap. Fix the D-Line and you are in the Playoff hunt........Behind my Cowboys of course! :)

July 3, 2007  10:11 AM ET

TO is a punk plain and simple. He is a great reciever, but a locker room cancer. I liked how he called Garcia **** when he was his QB. I was watching ESPN this morning and say Garcia with his smoking hot wife. Guess TO blew that one. He bashes teammates, takes plays off, short arms passes if he thinks he's going to take a hit. All the TO defenders blame the media for painting a bad picture of TO, but the truth is he does it himself. I'll admit the whole bike riding thing at training camp was funny. But the media didn't make up the fact that Parcells was pissed about it. They just reported it. Give him a year to rip all of his teammates in Dallas Legend and tell me how you feel about him in 2 years.

The thing with TO is even when he does something good(like playing in the Super Bowl after coming back from injury) he still have top open his mouth and talk ****. Saying that if someone else came back that fast the media would be saying what a warrior he was for coming back early, but nobody gave him credit for coming back early. EVERYONE gave him credit for coming back early He might be more well like dif he just shut his hole and played football. Chad Johnston is a loudmouth, but people like him, becasue he doesn't bash him teammates all the time. It'll be funny to see him throw Romo under the bus this season and see how that plays out. Even Parcells would rather retire than deal with Owens.

July 3, 2007  10:23 AM ET

Parcells,

Thank God He RETIRED. He retired on My Birthday. It was the best present EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now Marion Barber will start, Terrence Newman will not play the Slot while Aaron Glenn gets burned deep.

July 3, 2007  10:35 AM ET

Say what you will about T.O., but conventional wisdom tells me the business acumen in him will return in 07'! This means he will take the game seriously again and return to form to regain the respect and............endorsement deals lost during his sabbatical from the "thinking world"! He is a tremendous athlete with the potential to dominate a game like few others when focused. The Cowboy's offense will put up huge numbers this year with all it's weapons! T.O. will be the catalyst for those huge numbers simply by his presence on the field opening the field up for his teammates! The Cowboy's are probably the deepest ever at WR, TE and RB, but make no mistake, Mr. Owens will "get his" simply because..........he is that GREAT of an athlete!

July 3, 2007  10:40 AM ET

Jason the only difference between Chad and T.O. is the way the media treats their actions!!! They both talk trash, they both celebrate when they score, and they both have egos. But answer this for me, why were Tommy Harris' comments about getting McNabb not blown out of proportion the way T.O.'s comments about having Favre was???? The MEDIA!!! I don't see Harris taking anywhere near the media beating that T.O. took. Harris said it over and over and over again, while T.O. was responding to a direct question. And I have to disagree with your claim that EVERYBODY gave him credit for coming back early. I remember plenty of people saying that he wouldn't miss the Super Bowl simply because of how big a stage it was and how he wouldn't miss that spotlight for anything. That doesn't sound like giving somebody credit for working hard to help his team.

July 3, 2007  11:04 AM ET

I also agree with American Legend.... The media loves T.O. and they will dig on anything regarding him. The only reason T.O. will even start to say anything is when he isn't used to his satisfaction. Personally its kind of a good thing that he remains in the spotlight cause its big $$$. And no one can even compare him to a Randy Moss, for him to just give up midway during the season and not wan't to complete his job dispite what is happening with his team is rediculous. NOW that he has tended to his finger injury pretty sure he should be back to playing normal.

July 3, 2007  11:12 AM ET

Americas-Hell no I'm no Oklahoma fan. I'm an Irish fan again like the rest of the family. I like the move for Kiwa, as well as the Giants NEED linebackers. Mitchell was a downgrade, it was too bad that Lavar got hurt he was really coming into his own with us. I live in the same county where he just got out of the hospital, and now all signs point to him retiring. We've got a kid we drafted last year out of GT, by the name of Gerris Wilkinson. A very good LB prospect who's expected to start along with Kiwa and Pierce. He was great in college and I think people will know his name by seasons end.

If the Giants stay healthy(HUGE IF there), I think we'll be back in the playoffs. Our offense, when healthy can shred any defense. I really like the fact that Brandon Jacobs is getting his time to shine, he's a monster in the making.

I'd love for Parcells to come back to the Giants.
