Terrell Pryor: Michigan players e-mail me

Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor recently had a sit-down interview with ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit. The interview, which aired on ESPN and can also be found on Adam Rittenberg's Big Ten blog, covers a number of subjects. Maybe the most interesting tidbit from Pryor was his claim that members of the Michigan football team e-mail him when he was asked about others being critical of his throwing style. Pryor was the nation's No. 1 recruit in 2008 and was heavily pursued by the Wolverines before ultimately signing with the Buckeyes.

Pryor is full of it. This is Tressel working a motivational tactic behind the scene. Michigan is down right now and will eventually be competitive again. Tressel is just trying to keep this game relevent until then. Pryor, Tressel and the Buckeyes should be worried about winning outside the Big Ten.

...or is it just a bitter RR putting his players up to it .... and before anyone says it .. yes, I'm just a bitter WVU fan.

It's probably The Truth and Warden e-mailing him disguised as Michigan players.

May 7, 2009  08:27 AM ET

Maybe they are just nice e-mails wishing him all the best for a bright and happy future, or perhaps advice how he can grow Lil' T three inches with a new miracle cream from Europe.

Thanks for clearing that up for us cw6 and glad you were able to give us your valuable insight on all this. Was this from your reliable sources or something you overheard in the locker room as you passed out the towels?

In other news, Pryor recently won the lottery in Paris. He is currently waiting for the transfer to show up in the bank account he Emailed them.

Dear Terrell,

Do you actually have to attend classes? General studies are a ****, don't think I will last here. Also, I would love to get paid... Please let me know what it's like there.

Don't listen to those critics of your throwing style. Just remember these tips:
1) Don't run. Throw.
2) Your back foot is strongest.
3) Take a big windup. Think MLB pitcher.
4) Make sure you focus in on the intended receiver. Give them plenty of notice.

Follow these tips and you'll be fine.

Thanks,
Michigan (TSUN)

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, Bill?

So let me get this straight, based on the article, Michigan players are sending e-mails to Pryor because they are critical of his throwing style? Did Perloff write this?

May 7, 2009  09:30 AM ET

Funny, I heard an analyst say that Pryor will thrive in the pro style offense at Ohio State. Really pro style?

May 7, 2009  09:40 AM ET

Michigan players will be emialing the heck out of him after they beat the Buckeyes this coming year!!

That was good. But wait a minute, I get those same emails and was told I won.
