Sources: Henderson leaving Duke for NBA
Gerald Henderson Jr. won't be returning to Duke for his senior season. According to multiple sources close to the situation, the athletic Blue Devils junior wing intends to sign with an agent and give up his final season of college eligibility. The 6-foot-4 Henderson, the son of former NBA guard Gerald Henderson, averaged 16.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this past season.

his value is as high as it can go- it's a smart move for him to go
-that being said- he's an undersized (he aint 6'4) 2 guard-
he'll likely be a career bench guy (at best) - but that is
absolutely nothing to sneeze at-
- I would not taken him until either real late 1st round or 2nd round

Henderson, what are you doing? Stay one more year, and you'll help Duke make the Final Four next year. I know you can jump out of the gym, but you're going to be a low 1st round pick, and sit the bench for the next 3 years in the NBA. Stay for your last year.

Stock is high, but has a chance to give Duke a run for a championship. He could move up into the high first round with a great senior year. He is the go-to guy @Duke...i've just lost alot of respect for him.

First, Duke sucks for many reasons. Second, good for him. Get out now because the longer you stay at Duke the worse your chances will be in the NBA. Coach K is a great coach and puts together great teams but doesn't do so well in putting out players into the NBA. And the coaches he produces pretty much suck. Amaker is one to ridicule.

Elton Brand should have left. Jason Williams should have left. William Avery shouldn't have left and Gerald Henderson shouldn't either. He doesn't need the money, so why leave the spotlight at a premier program for the 9th man on the bench spot with a mediocre NBA team?

I love how hard he played for my Blue Devils and hate to knock him in any way, but after the way he exited this past season, Gerald should go back to college.

It doesn't matter if he leaves or not, Duke will still suck. Duke players always do good against scrubs. That is how they pad their stats. All he will do in the nba is sit on the bench until the game is out of reach or if they need him to foul someone.
