Wide receiver Justin Hunter from Ocean Lakes has become the latest highly rated Virginia junior to make a football commitment for the entering class of 2010. Hunter, rated the No. 5 junior in the state by The Roanoke Times, is one of 13 in-state players in his class to have made oral commitments. He has chosen LSU. Four have made oral commitments to Virginia Tech, but two of the best, Hunter and quarterback Phillip Sims from Group AAA Division 6 champion Oscar Smith, are headed to the Southeastern Conference. Sims, rated No. 1 by The Roanoke Times, committed to Alabama in April.

You got a good one, but so far we have the top rated QB for 2010.

Rivals says 2010 is a lean year for QB's. None in the top 50. Doesn't mean your kid can't play, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on him just yet.

All these guys are def hit and miss.. but it gives us a reason to talk a lil trash when they have a few *** by their name

OF course you do, Rivals will make sure that he's in the top 30 before next year is over with too.

At least our recruits will qualify.

There's always been a few non-qualifiers, but never an inordinate amount. I'm pretty sure that if you put the two programs side by side, they'd be fairly equal. Despite what you guys claim, you go after many of the same guys we go after.

I wonder if Les ran this by Reuben Randle before making the offer. The poor guy got his feelings hurt last year when LSU was going to sign Deangelo Benton. He doesn't seem to like any competition at the WR position.

I dont know what RR is gonna do.. we have already signed 2 4* this year plus I am sure we are going to get Travon Reed... I think RR knows Benton was going to take his playing time... Hope he doesnt make us pay when we play Auburn

I thought i was the only 1 who thought RR was scared and Benton got screwed

You should worry about how you have 99 scholarship players on your team today, when there is an 85 scholarship limit.

Hmm...this loooks like a West Division fight....that's a change of pace compared to the recent Tenn and UF posts.

I'm not worried and will not worry about it. That's why we have a coach. He worries about it. I just worry about when I'm going to wtach the games, are we going to win, and how much beer I'll drink while watching.
