08:07 AM ET 05.14 | As if the Florida-Tennessee rivalry couldn't get more interesting this offseason. There are no official reports yet, but rumors are swirling about former Gator quarterback Cam Newton heading to Tennessee to play for Lane Kiffin. Here's the original link from Gatortailgating.com. It's not like this is some third-string defensive tackle. This was a five-star, 6-foot-6 quarterback who left the Gators in January after being arrested for allegedly stealing a laptop and throwing it out of his dorm window upon suspicion. He also left because John Brantley was likely the Tim Tebow successor at that point.
