Among the players the Nets are considering with the No. 11 pick are point guards Jonny Flynn of Syracuse and Ty Lawson of North Carolina; wings Terence Williams of Louisville; and power forwards Earl Clark of Louisville (via Plainfield), James Johnson of Wake Forest, and DeJuan Blair of Pittsburgh.

Any one who can play would be nice.

all decent picks that could be great NBA players. im still worried about blair tho. everybody says his toughness makes up for his lack of size, but there are fifty other big men in the NBA that are just as physical and strong....and 4 inches taller

They certainly don't need a point guard with Devin Harris as the starter and Keyon Dooling as his backup.

May 20, 2009  07:43 AM ET

trade devin harris back to the Mavs please! I am tired of watching Kidd limp into the twilight of his career and dragging my boys down!

May 20, 2009  08:33 AM ET

Why are PGs even mentioned in the list? Must not have faith in Devin.

There are basically no choices after the top ten picks.

May 20, 2009  08:49 AM ET

All of them are decent players however they really do not need a point guard. Devin Harris and Keyon Dooling are both fine in their roles.

Out of all the names I think Earl Clark would be a good fit. He can play multiple positions and be a good glue guy for the franchise.

Like you said, Best Player Available.

I wouldnt mind putting a PG along side Harris. Dooling and Harris together on the floor works. So Lawson or Flynn is cool with me as a Nets fan.

Unless someone else falls to the 11 spot like Lopez, but i doubt that.

Who do the Nets like at No. 11.......is this a joke? We are talking about the 11th pick, not one of the Top 3. The Nets will take the best player on the board with that pick, just like every other team with a pick past #3. Stupid story.

May 20, 2009  10:12 AM ET

There is a good chance that DeJuan Blair will be available. That would be my choice!

May 20, 2009  10:27 AM ET

I'd like to see the Nets get a player that can contribute now--as opposed to a backup point guard. I'd like to see them go big. I like Blair, but at 6'7 he's limited.

Tyler Hansbrough/Earl Clark

I can't believe how much Hansbrough is slipping in the draft. Last numbers I saw had him at 24. I agree! Hansbrough should be picked in at least the top 15.

I can't quite figure it out. Last year it was Kevin Love and Brooke Lopez the 'experts' didn't like. Both proved them wrong. I think Hansbrough will do likewise.

I know. They seem to have overthunk themselves on Darren Collison too (not for the Nets, clearly). Although not as good as Kevin Love of Brooke Lopez, his speed and outside shooting should translate in the NBA.

May 20, 2009  11:35 AM ET

I mean they are putting Jrue Holiday over Collison, that to me makes little sense.

LMAO!!!! HILARIOUS !!!!!

I saw some Tyler Hansbrough comments on here and I have to comment...

C'mon, we all know the NBA Draft is all about potential and who has the most upside.

What's your take on Brandon Jennings? I never saw him play in Europe but being from Oak Hill he was on TV a lot in HS and I was not impressed.
