Former Mt. Lebanon High School football standout Andrew Devlin is expected to transfer to Pitt soon, according to a source at the university. Devlin, who played his first two seasons at Virginia, is going through the process of being accepted into Pitt. Devlin, a 6-foot-6, 255-pound tight end, will sit out the upcoming season and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Devlin played in 12 games last season and had three receptions for 22 yards. Two of those receptions came in a game against East Carolina Oct. 11.

JRM, you're as close to a local as we've got - scoop

Maybe he gets to play Bball too. I hear they are an up and coming team.

Not much coverage of UVA here in metropolitan DC. They more or less dropped off the radar screen when they lost to Duke. Got ****ing meetings this morning. Will see if the Charlottesville papers have anything when I get done.

Oh yeah.

My only problem with her is I can't get that image of her as a 14 yr old holding the little brown bear as she headed to the swimming pool. Of course that 1996 but still....

In 1996, she wanted to swim. Now, she wants people to think that she looks good naked. Success in the pool is measured well enough to have confidence in the results. As for her latest goal, results are subjective. Achievement of her goal is not clear. Perhaps, she could use that teddy bear again.

Delvin is from My. Lebanon, PA. If Virginia isn't ringing his bells, Pitt can be seen as something of a homecoming.

It's a player transferring from one insignificant program to another insignificant program. And someone scheduled me for a ****ing meeting that I gotta wear a ****ing tie to on a ****ing Friday. Thinking I may swear about it when I get back.

I think she does look good naked. Its from the neck up that is questionable. But, give it a few years and a few kids and the bod catches up to the face.

Not to mention that it is the Friday before the Memorial Day holiday weekend...

My obligatory meeting is scheduled for 2 hours late this afternoon. Attendance in person is mandatory. Roll call will be taken & recorded. No one on my boss's team will be "sneaking out early" this Friday, by Jiminy!

Though no ties are required, JRM. You have my sympathy on the attire.

Where in this thread do you pick up "Jerry Jones hating?"

If you know some facts about Delvin's play at UVA and his prospects at Pitt, please, share these with us.

I wore the uniform every day for 16 years. Then, there were casual Fridays - dress slacks, ties, and sport coats. About a decade later, some of the senior execs would show up Friday mornings wearing polos and khakis (early tee times). Thus, we lesser officers shed the ties and sport coats, and swapped the dress slacks for dressy khakis. Now, that's my daily attire. The only time I wear the uniform is when I'm presenting to the C-level execs.

May your path to loose collars not take so long.

Nah, some things never get old, especially hating the owner of your favorite NFL team or the owner of the rival NFL teams.
I hate the owner of my favorite NFL football team, but considering he's the son of Paul Brown, I'm guessing he ain't going anywhere.
I've hated Art Modell since the '70's, but oddly enough, I don't hate Dan Rooney very much (although I wish he would quit hiring such capable coaches for his team). Thankfully, the Haslam family bought a good bit of the Steelers franchise recently, and I hated them long before they that, so hating them even more when they became affiliated with Pittsburgh just came naturally.
I also hate Al Davis, and in the interest of fairness to Oakland, I hate Pat Bowlen, too.

My boss says we already have 2 casual days, Saturday and Sunday. I always have to wear a suit to the office. Once I start traveling more I can lighten up on it. Hopefully in 2 years I will be 1 or 2 days in the office and thats it. I will need some of you guys to give me the scoop on good places to eat when I come to your towns.

That would be directed at you FJJ. Smacked down by the ex-Jabba clone Jared of Subway fame.

You just got schooled by a guy who swallows footlongs all day!
